Author's Note: Hey all! Quick author's note here. With some of the camp scenes, I'm about to quote from the 1956 version of Cecil B. DeMille's "The Ten Commandments". I loved that movie when I first watched it with my parents.
Anyways, that's all.
Enjoy the chapter!
--------------------------
A few days have passed, and things are still pretty peaceful. Birds are chirping, the people are chatting, some are reading, others are working, and others are just playing. And all the while, they remain patient for God to give Nate the plans to rebuild Prideopolis. And then, one day, when everything was peaceful, all of a sudden, a massive dark cloud came ove Cannadus, and thunder boomed everywhere, and this freightened everyone.
"What's happening?!?!" asked Chloe.
"I have no idea!!" James replied, "Why did this thunderstorm suddenly appear like this?!"
"I hope it doesn't rain!" Fiona said in fear.
But then, a voice was heard, saying, "Nathaniel. It's time."
And Nate heard the voice, and knew that it was God, and it's now time to recieve his plans to rebuild Prideopolis, and so, he went up to the base of the mountain, and gathered everyone together to let them know about what's going on.
"Everyone!" Nate spoke out, "The time has come!! God is calling me to him so that he will give me the plans to rebuild Prideopolis!!"
And everyone cheered in response to this.
"However, I will not go alone!" Nate continued, "Riley, Phi and Technoblade, you three are coming with me."
And in response, Riley, Phi and Techhnoblade walked up to Nate, who then said as the three of them stood by him, "I leave Nicolas in charge until we come back." Then Nicolas came up as Nate said to him, "Nicolas, make sure that the people behave themselves and keep their faith. And also make sure that no one sets foot three feet from this mountain's base."
"And I will have my wife and son support me." Nicolas stated, "I will do as you've said."
"Excellent." Nate replied, then he said to the people, "But remember, if any one of you commits any form of sin, then you will not be allowed to help rebuild Prideopolis. Understand?"
And everyone else shouted back in agreement and understandment.
Then, Nate, Riley, Phi and Technoblade all began going up the mountain for a few minutes until they all reached the same cave where Nate spotted the burning bush. Then, once they reached the entrance to the cave, they stopped.
"Why are we stopping here?" asked Technoblade.
"God has informed me that while I've brought you three with me...." Nate replied, "I am entering the cave alone."
"Why, Dad?" Phi asked, and Nate replied, "Because God is calling me back the place where he and I first spoke."
"How long will you be with God, Nate?" Technoblade asked.
"Who knows." Nate replied, "I might be gone for weeks. I just hope Nicolas can do great in looking after the people."
"Hon...." Riley spoke up, "If something goes wrong, I'm sure God will send you down. Now, be careful and good luck."
And with that, Nate went into the cave, and walked to the same spot where he first encountered God, but once he got there, he saw another opening, and there was a small floating flame there as well. Thinking to follow the flame, Nate did so, and the flame led him further into the cave, which eventually led him up the mountain itself.
