Work today was stressful. You had to deal with a whole bunch of nasty, rude people and then fill in for someone because they didn't show up. You were hoping to get home early and cuddle your boyfriend but it seemed like luck wasn't on your side.

Luckily the day came and went before finally being able to arrive back home. As you drive back, an idea hits you and a small hum of excitement escapes your lips. Just as you open the door Shaun peaks around the corner and waves, "Welcome back. How was work?" He seems to be preoccupied with cooking dinner.

"So stressful. My heart hurts." You rub your chest once you put your stuff away and then walk up to him. Leaning against the wall beside him, you sigh to exaggerate your pain.

Shaun looks at you with slight worry, checking the food every so often as he observes you. "Can you describe your pain?" He puts the lid on the pot of food and turns his attention to you.

"It's beating really fast... and sometime's it'll ache." You say with an exaggerated pained expression.

He thinks for a moment, "Maybe high blood pressure or heart burn? Does the beating happen at certain events or activities?" He doesn't seem to catch onto your exaggeration.

You grin when he looks away in thought, "It beats really fast when I'm with you and then it aches when you leave." You tilt your head, wondering when it'll click together for him.

His eyebrows furrow in confusion, "Could it be I'm wearing something you're allergic too? Maybe I need to buy different soaps..." You push off the wall and rest your hands on his waist as you watch him. "Is there any other symptoms you know of?" He asks after a while, looking at you for a split second before looking away.

You nod and use a hand to tilt his face towards yours, a small smile on your face. "My face gets hot and my body feels tingly when I'm with you." He looks at you for a good few seconds, not fully understanding what you mean.

You trace your hand over his jawline and cheekbone a few times before it finally clicks, "Oh. You were joking weren't you?" You nod and chuckle, he sighs exasperatedly and leans his head against your shoulder. "I thought I did something wrong." You nuzzle your face in his neck and place small kisses there as you hold him close against your body.

"You did nothing wrong, love. I just wanted to tease you." You kiss his forehead once he pulls back, "And also tell you I love you." You kiss the tip of his nose, "And missed you."

He sighs contently at your kisses, "I missed you too." He looks at you with soft eyes, "And I love you too." He mutters against your lips before you kiss him. It's short and sweet, barely lasting a few seconds before you pull away.

Shaun checks over the pot of food as your hand still resta on his waist and your chest presses against his back. "Shaun.." You begin, "I want to make love with you.." You shift on your feet as you await his answer. You two haven't done anything more than kiss these few years you were together and you were ready to take the next step, but you weren't sure if he was. It wasn't like you two were against the thought of sex, but it just never came up. You two never really had a high sex drive - or barely one at all - and were perfectly content with just kisses and words of affection. But today, after the stress you endured, you had a small desire to see him in a new light.

He's silent for a moment, "Like sex?" Shaun hums in thought before nodding slowly, looking at you with a cute smile. "Okay, but after dinner. Uhm.. could you.. take the lead? I don't um.. know what to do.." He looks away in slight embarrassment. "Do I need to.. prepare?"
