I rolled my eyes before turning my body around towards my classmates.

Are they kindergarten or what?

I want to stomp my feet!

Most of them are complaining about how hot the area was. "Didn't you know the science behind this hot assembly are was your stupid mouths?!" I stomped my feet as I said the line with irritation.

I bit my inside cheek. Damn, I lost my cool. What can I do? "When you talk and talk and walk like you own this assembly area, the carbon dioxide released by your body adds up to the molecules around this closed area and it cultivates the heat!" I looked at my classmates, and all of them stopped.

"Ano daw?" Ani ng isa, it was Garabillo, the naughtiest guy.

"It's 'raw'! You can't use 'daw' if the last letter of the preceding word is a vowel!" How did they reach high school?!

"You shouldn't just stand there. Go watch the people in front, we're short of 7 boys, I bet they're still in our classroom."

"8, we're short of 8 people, may isa pang babaeng nawawala sa linya, it's Ms. Yumul." He nonchalantly said.

I rolled my eyes. So what if he memorized all of our classmates' names in just 2 days?!

I was about to go to our classroom when he grabbed my arms.

I was left no choice but to check line while holding the attendance he gave me.

For the past few days, everything happened just like a blast. We were elected as officers. Apparently, he was the class president and I am elected as the vice president even though it was against my will. I was never really interested in entering the hierarchy of authority.

"I am glad you two were my presidents. You're completely the opposite of each other but I know you will work together to keep our class."
