"Oh, thank goodness, she's here. We can tell the lads that the search is over."
Wait...lads? What search? And why did that voice sound like Colm's? Those questions bounced around in my head as I heard a door shutting, and I started to open my eyes before noticing that I was no longer in a fancy bed...but a bunk bed on Celtic Thunder's tour bus. After I recognized my surroundings, I checked the pocket in my skirt before seeing that my trinkets from Thunderland were gone, and I was struggling to understand what had happened when I heard the door opening again. It was at that moment that I saw Emmet and Emmett approaching, and even though I was delighted to see my friends again, I was now wondering how they could be both there and in Thunderland.
"Ah, Lydia! The lads were getting worried about you!"
Emmett chuckled as I rubbed my eyes, only for him and Emmet to step back a little when I asked why they sounded like Kennedy and Keagan. While both of them were confused about how being compared to royalty, they figured it was due to the dream I had while I was away, as much as I tried to tell them how real it all felt. After they told me that there were a few things to brush up on before the pre-show meet-and-greet, I agreed to follow them into the theater. As the three of us walked off the bus, I felt like Dorothy trying to explain Oz to her family in Kansas, and the two of them understood that I was telling them the truth.
Well, it took a bit of convincing for me to realize that I was back with the lads and not in Thunderland, but they all listened before we began working on a show inspired by it. We even thought of re-theming one of our classics, but we knew that wouldn't fly, so we did what we could. I don't know what was in my tea before my nap, but it sure fueled my imagination enough to have a wild adventure.
The end.
