We arrive at the forest and Soul transforms into a scythe. "Soul, are you ready?" "I'm born ready" Maka and Soul use soul resonance like usual but nothing out of the ordinary happens. Instead of the techniques they were trying for they got genie hunter. "Maka I think we should take a break especially you. You are still recovering." "I'm fine let's do it one more time." "soul resonance!" the resonance went up and we got to genie hunter. Maka kept pushing harder and harder to get this move so I did the same. After about 3 minutes of raising our resonance rate, we were at a standstill. My blade grew and turned a pink color as Maka held me in her hands. "We did it Maka!" no response. "Maka?"
Maka was just standing there looking at the ground still holding me in a combat formation. "Maka, can you hear me?" "MAKA!" Maka starts to fall forward I transform back to catch her. "Maka! Are you ok what's wrong?" "We did it!" Maka said in a weak voice. "No, we didn't your about to pass out." "yea I know, but that's only because I'm already weak. thank you, Soul!" "your welcome Maka." Soul ends up walking home with Maka in his arms when he makes it back he puts her on the couch and hops into the shower. By that time Maka has awoken from her unconsciousness. and is knocking on the bathroom door "Soul?" "In the shower what's up?" "Oh. Ok well, I will wait then." "what is it, Maka?" "Nothing I was just making sure you were alive and real." Soul didn't respond to the weird comment Maka had made. He turned the shower off and got dressed
He made his way to the living room where Maka was. She was in a large baggy T-shirt and shorts that you cant see. She was half sitting and half laying on the couch reading a book. "Soul you're done." "yup did you want something to eat? I know it's late." "it's fine" Soul sits next to Maka on the couch and pulls her into him. Now Maka is leaning on his shoulder still reading her book. "Wanna watch a movie?" "Sure" Soul turns a movie on and Maka puts her book down.
As the movie continues Maka dozes in and out of sleep and eventually just falls asleep on Soul. Soul pats her head then he ends up falling asleep with her.
Who knew there was such a powerful move out there? one that comes into effect with love and the desire to protect each other without a doubt. That would be so cool!
