She liked it when he asked her about how they had met, although sometimes it made her sad to think that only she was able to tell their story from the beginning, but she understood him in that sense. His substance abuse and the fact that most of the time he was under weird effects didn't help him retain his memories properly. It wasn't like he remembered absolutely nothing either, there were vague things he could mention to her about them and how they met. Anyway, she liked to remember every detail, she liked to tell him their story like a fairy tale as they rode in the car, and he listened to her as if he were a little boy.

-I knew you would be mine from the very first moment...Even before we met. -The words came from the boy's lips like a whisper. Alana stopped stroking his hair for a few seconds and thought about the fact that he had been in a serious relationship before her and that he had been interested in her while he was with another girl was not funny to her.

Had she been interesting enough for him? Was she still interesting enough for him? When her head started to spin too much on a subject she feared for their relationship. If what they had could even be considered a relationship. She knew they could both self-sabotage what they had with their own problems.

Was it getting them anywhere?
