One week later
At around 8:00 I woke up to a phone call from Eddie.
E-Eddie Y-you
E: ¡Hola, hermana!
Y: Hey Eddie. What's up?
E: I wanted to let you know that I'm on the plane right now heading to Florida! I'll be at your house tomorrow!
Y: Wait, you're coming tomorrow?!
E: uhh, ya? I told you this last week! How could you already forget?
Y: sorry I just forgot.
E: Sounds like you.. but just be ready we'll be there in the morning k?
Y: uhh okay I'll see you in the morning
E: ¡Vale, adiós! ¡Nos vemos mañana!
Y: bye Eddie!
F*ck. I was not ready for this. I cleaned up my whole house and decided to drive to my friend's house for a bit before Eddie arrived.
10:23am
I arrived at my friend's house just to hang out for a bit. "Hey y/n!" My friend Abby said. Abby had long orange hair. Her eyes were a beautiful brown. And she had the most beautiful freckles.
"Hey abby! Sorry to drop by on such short notice." I said. "Oh no it's ok! I love having you around!" She said with a smile. "Anyway, did you want to talk about something?" Abby asked. "Ya actually, my brother is coming to stay with me at my house. And you know what happened last time he stayed over." I said. "Oh the 5 am incident. That's what you're talking about right?" "Ya. I don't want anything to happen to us again.." "don't worry, I don't think he even remembered it! He was drunk! There's no way he remembers it!." "But what if he brings it up? I wouldn't want to talk about it.." I said worried. "Well, has he brought it up at all?" "Well no." "Then you don't have to worry!"
I stayed at Abby's house until it was dark. I drove home and made sure that my house looked perfect for when Eddie and his friends got here!
I sat on my bed and put on some sponge Bob. I was really excited but nervous at the same time. I set my alarm for 5:30 so I could drive over to Eddie and pick him and his friends up
