It was early in the morning when Laval drove his speedor to the forever rock. He wasn't sure when exactly the crocodile was going to show up but he felt like morning was the best time for him to show up. When he arrived to the rock he didn't see anyone else there, so he sat down on one of the rocks. It took a few minutes for Cragger to show up from the water. Laval looked at the crocodile.

"Did you bring anyone else?" Laval asked.

"Who? My father?" Cragger said as he started walking around Laval.

"Why didn't you get rid of the pledge?" Laval asked.

"What was I supposed to do if I did? Come live with you?" Cragger said while kicking a small rock.

"Well, I'm sure your father would understand once the war is over. Any chance you are getting that pledge back?"

"He gave me the pledge to win the golden chi. Maybe next month but I doubt it. Pretty sure he has plans to start the war by then."

"Well, I trust you know where the pledge is. You should have enough opportunities before and during the war, and you know you are welcome in the city anytime if you need it."

"Yeah, I know." Cragger said as he stared into the distance for a few seconds. He then jumped back into the water and left the rock. Laval was soon joined by Longtooth and Leonidas.

"Well, I didn't expect our next potential ally to be a crocodile. Now we just need to visit a few more tribes." Longtooth said while Laval was activating his speedor.

The three first visited the beaver tribe. They just cam when the beavers started working on a new outdoor toilet.

"Hey, beaver, what are you guys doing?" Laval said with a smile.

"Oh, lions! We haven't seen you in a day! One day. We are just working on our new outdoor toilet here! Not sure who would need it but it's nice to be making something!"

"You are supposed to be building things in lion city!" Longtooth said.

"Oh, right. Well I guess we could come by when we finish the toilet."

"No, you are going to help us now!" Longtooth said as he pointed his spear at the beaver. The beavers got the hint and started getting in their mostly functional beaver vehicles. The two lions high fived as Lenoidas stared at them.

The king of lions and his companions then drove to the gorilla tribe to meet with Gorzan.

"You know, I don't really like how your friend rammed me into the fire. I am still recovering from the burns." Gorzan said as he applied a wet leaf onto his back.

"I see it's healing quickly, besides, you don't want to fight for the losing side with a back like that, right? Also, maybe you didn't win the golden chi, but you'll be on the side that did." Laval said, going through every point he and Longtooth discussed.

"Who is that, Gorzan? Are those the lions?" Grumlo said, bringing more wet leaves. "Why did you let them in?"

"Oh, we were just discussing an alliance between us. I am currently considering their points, which is extra hard considering they listed like three of them in the same sentence."

"You're not going to support the lions, are you? Look at what they did to your back!" Grumlo said as he applied a leaf to Gorzan's back.

"You're right Grumlo. You can leave now lions." Gorzan said.

The three lions drove close to the wolf camp when they noticed a blue eagle following them. The eagle landed soon after they stopped.

"The wolves and us, the eagles, have entered into a disagreement and they are threatening combat. If you help us against them you will earn our army." The blue eagle said and flew away just as quickly. The three lions were left thinking about what to do.
