"Soooo, ready for the club fair willow?"

Luz's hands linked infront of her as I approached her along with willow and Gus. The latter sitting on a face down locker held in place by vines.

"Mayhaps you'll join me and Amity in the Azura book club!"

A quiet laugh rumbled from my throat as I stopped next to my sister, "That's a great idea Luz, but I think our Willow has her heart set on something else." I said, leaning my elbow on her shoulder and winking Willows way.

Luz gave me an incredulous look, her eyes and nose wrinkling up like she'd just smelt something sour.

Willow giggled, her cheeks tinting slightly from the sudden attention "thank you Luz, but y/n is right." She glanced down and dig through her pockets. "I'm actually going for something a little more dramatic." She said, holding up her scroll, a picture of someone in a palisman with face paint on. "Flyer derby!" Then the picture starting moving.

It showed what basically looked like a complicated version of capture the flag. Then willow continued.

"Ever since our Grudgby match, I've been playing it at home. Today, I'm starting Hexsides first Flyer Derby team."

My eyes widened a little. I'd always been good at sport. Not the best, but I've always been good. "Well, my friend, your in luck." I said, pushing off Luz and standing straight.

"Really? How?" Asked willow, her brow arched in slight confusion.

"Because," I Said, bending over at hips and bowing before willow. Kaida, who'd previously been nestled in my hood, peaking up and looking up at willow. "You've already got your first applicant." I said, one hand on my stomach, the other against my back. I pointedly ignored that look Luz was giving me. The judgemental questioning eyes I could feel on me, that same look that I'd seen enough times to know I had to get away from her before those questions and accusations I knew she was now holding back came bursting out. Questions and accusations I wasn't sure I'd be able to face right now.

Over the past few days, the coven parade, everything- I'd been hiding behind a mask of happiness. Hiding behind my friends, throwing myself into anything to distract myself. I could tell Luz was noticing, and I could tell she didn't like it.

"Really?!" Willow said suddenly, bouncing on her feet. Her hands balled in-front of her, her eyes wide with excitement.

I grinned as I looked back up at her. "If you'll have me, Captain."

"Willow!" I hunch over as I come to a stop. My multicoloured uniform standing out next to her all-green one. "Sorry I'm late." I say, panting. Wiping sweat from my forehead. "Kaida decided he didn't want to fly. He wanted to sleep." I said bluntly.

Willow laughed, noticing the small dragon still in my hood, peaking his head up, I could've sworn he was grinning at me.

"Anyway," I continued. Standing up properly. "Got any new recruits?" I said, glancing at Gus who was staring at nothing. More like glaring. As if someone took a big dump on his breakfast or something. I blinked, but was brought back when Willow spoke again. "Yes actually! His name is Caleb,"

"Caleb?"

"Yea! He's new here, and he's gonna help us! watch." Willow said and turned suddenly, grabbing Gus and matching up the steps. Gus holding up flyer derby pamphlets.

"Students of Hexside! got a Palisman, got a need for thrills, chills and theatrics? Well, this could be you!"

The crowd that had gathered gasped suddenly, as a person on a red Palisman flew by. Yellow potion unformed and flying as if he'd been born in the air. Swirling around and flying with grace and ease. Like it was second nature to him.
