You were not one known to 'take breaks' or even have days off from your job at all. It was also very known that you were stubborn as hell too, not even a flue could stop you from working.

You didn't have a job that payed well enough to work such an ungodly amount of time so why did you work your ass off so much?? The answer to that is you and your dad both have to work shitty jobs, to pay rent and get by...

You told mikey of why you constantly feel you need to work and to a certain extent,  he understands but he also worries for you deeply and hates seeing you push yourself so much.

One morning you felt so overwhelmed and overworked that you couldn't physically get out of your bed and your dad forced you to stay home, not in a mean way your dad was very loving and kind to you so he more or less begged you to take a break from your job.

(Yall readers get a #1 dad!! Lol I hope ya like him I kinda wish I had this dad ... cries in daddy issues)

You and mikey were texting, your eyes and limbs heavy from exhaustion. You were struggling to even look at the bright screen but before you had got the chance to sleep, you heard your phone begin to ring.

"Mmmm....h-hello...?" You managed mutter out, voice scratchy and soar.

"Òoooo mama! You sound awful baby, you sure you don't need me to come over?" Mikey asked, attempting to give himself an excuse to see you as well. You hardly ever had time for poor mikey and he had grown very attached to you.

"At this point....I might" you groaned  out while holding your head from the pounding headache you had. Oh lord if only you could see the grin you had given this bubbley boy

"I will be right over my dear AND I will be wanting cuddles, I don't care if your sick I have not seen you in weeks!" "Baby....your shouting..." you grumbled in pain at his change in volume. "Oh I am so so sorry 😢" he spat an apology, whisper shouting it ofc.

~~~a few hours...later~~~

You were sitting there, on your couch. You were cuddling your f/st (fav stuffed toy) that mikey gave you, when you heard a knock on your window. Groaning from exhaustion, you grudgingly wander over to the window while meekly smiling when you two locked glances.

"Heyyy..." you managed to mumble a greeting, his smiling soon faltered to a concerned expression. If his eyes could speak then oh God would they be lecturing the shit out of you but he said nothing and hugged you slowly, pulling you into his cold blooded embrace. "Jeez your burning up baby...did you check your temp yet?" He asked worried about you and pressing his hands to your both flushed and fire like skin. "N-no I'm fuckin' freezing actually..." you muttered while he gave you a Glace of: 'well thats not good'.

He sat you on the couch, with a cold rag on your forehead and ice pack on the back of your neck. "Well at least tell me you tried to eat something light on your stomach?" He asked and you practically shrank into the couch cushions, yeah that would be a no. He shook his head and chuckled to himself "well thank God I'm here, ill be right back" he stated tenderly and placed a kiss on your cheek.

He soon came back with a bottle of water, some crackers and a Canada dry just incase the crackers upset your stomach. God this man was far to good to you sometimes! You have had your fair share of toxic exe's so you still try to get used to all this treatment. Yeah, its nice but you can't help but feel you don't deserve it and he knows that....Dr delicate touch doesn't though.

" I hope this helps" his face had a welcoming smile and his words were laced with love and care, his actions were pure affirmation that he loves and cares for you deeply.

"Trust me, ...this helps more than enough"  you murmur to him, tiredness washing over your body.

"I love you Anglo "
