Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters or the show.

We were best friends, us three, always there for each other until the day I lost them. One night they went on another date, but later they had gotten hit by a drunk driver on the way back. I found out the next day when my cell was called. The hospital told me that the impact of the crash had killed them all.

I felt horrible ,it was their anniversary and she had news for him and our friends. She had confined only in me a few days earlier and I said that yesterday would be a good day for this I don't think I could tell anyone this now though. Not something that they should be burdened with.

I did however know that I would have to get out of where I had curled up into a ball on my bed. My eyes were dry, the news so shocking my mind hadn't caught up.

I picked up my phone from the table beside me and called my brother. I asked if he could come over from where he was staying with his friend.

When he got back I told him what happened. Me saying it finally had my eyes tear up and I collapsed back onto my bed. Spencer knew he should leave me alone for a while before we talk so he went down and across the hall to tell Mrs. Benson. The whole weekend was spent in the building mourning, and by next week we decided to start planning their wake and funeral.

In another week at the wake there was a priest talking, but I couldn't really hear what he was saying, I was too busy sobbing into Spencer's shoulder. My name was called out to say something so I wiped my face and gathered myself up to the front of the room.

"Sam and Freddie were the best friends anyone could ask for." I had to stop for a second and wipe my eyes again. "They helped me with so many problems," I gave a weak smile, "even some that they caused themselves.

"They were always there and I tried to help them as much as they helped me. Even when they fought which, come on, was often, they loved each other. You could tell they were hurting inside when this happened.

"They knew that it would last and came up with their shared future life. They wanted to be happy with a nice house and a daughter, named Mariah Emily Benson. Sam said she wanted a mini her.

"The point is that when Sam just came up and took my sandwich and when we met Freddie, I didn't think that we could come so far as friends."I chocked up but continued on.

"But Sam and Freddie weren't just my best friends they were like family to me. I will gladly take the memories and carry on through it all, the ups and downs. I will love them."

I walked back to me my brother and waited with him to start the next part. They took the caskets outside and began lowering them into the shared hole. When I couldn't look any longer I turned and hugged Spencer again. When this whole mess was over I shook peoples hands and thanked them for coming.

The next day at school I was excused to go clean out their lockers. Spencer had me go so I wouldn't mope around.

When people asked about the next episode of ICarly I told them it was ending. I didn't bother telling them why, news spread around the school quickly enough. Wendy came up to me and asked if she could help. The thing that got me was that she said she was sorry for my loss. That was it for me, I got hit with a fresh wave of grief and ran home, leaving my bag there.

I barged into our apartment and into my room. A few more days could help. I didn't go back for a week but it did help.

I made a silent promise to myself then, to never forget them as long as I live.
