Ruby sighed as she left the Headmaster's office, relieved that she was no longer being stared at by three rather intimidating adults. She made her way back to her Dorm, then entered to get ambushed by Yang. "Yang put me down!" She yelled, only for her sister to chuckle. "Nah, your just so hugable today." She sulked, though Yang did put her down a moment later. "Anyway, Dad sent us some packages. One of them is only addressed to you though." Yang handed her that package, which she opened to reveal a new pair of Headphones that were immediately connected to her phone and hung around her neck. "What's in the other one?"
"I don't know!" Yang cried cheerfully, "lets Find out." Yang opened it, then tipped it upside down after glancing inside. A dark coloured, fluffy disk fell out, that then popped up into a Dog. She gasped. "ZWEI!" She pounced on the dog, then lifted him up to cuddle him while Yang read the note. "He sent a Dog?" Blake started. "In the Mail?" Weiss finished. "Oh, he does this all the time!" Yang replied. "Your Dog or your Dad?" She blinked. "Yes" was all she could offer as reply. Goodwitch's voice came over the intercom, calling them to the ampitheater with the other first years. "So dad left the Island for the week and sent Zwei to us to look after. And all the food we'll need for the week he's gone." Yang shook the Tube as Zwei appeared at her feet, causing dozens of Can's of Dog food to fall out of the package and pile up around Zwei. "How!? This Defys all the laws of physics!" Blake shouted from Ruby's bunk. Yang chuckled. "You think that's bad, Ruby once Shipped Zwei in a box about as Big as Weiss' earings, plus 20 times this amount of dog food to me when I was at a Summer camp because her and Dad had to go somewhere for a while. Then I shipped Zwei back in the same box. Needless to say, me and Ruby inherited Dad's ability to pack things into places they shouldn't fit. Or maybe it's just Zwei."
"But we can't exactly leave him here for a week can we? I mean, what's he supposed to do with that?" Weiss states. Yang shook the tube again, causing a can opener to fall out the package and bounce of Zwei's head. "Well that settles it, let's go girls, Zwei will be here when we get back." Yang stated cheerfully and left the room. She smirked as she glanced at Zwei, then grabbed her bag.

She rejoined her team a few moments later, her bag full of snacks and Zwei. "Quiet, Quiet please! Proffesor Ozpin would like to say a few words." Goodwitch stated, then stepped back to let Ozpin speak. She zoned out during Ozpin's speech, then followed her team over to the mission boards. "So, which one should we pick?" She asked. "Lets check search and Destroy." They searched for a couple of seconds, then found a search and Destroy mission in quadrant 5. When she inputted their team name, however, it was unavailable. "Well great, now what?" She hummed, then chirped out "we mail ourselves there." Yang looked like she was going to say something, only for Ozpin to cut her off. "Well that is certainly one way to get there. We determined that the concentration of Grimm in the area was too much for first year students, but something tells me you girls will find your way there no matter what you do. I'm curious as to how you actually found out about a base in the southeast, just as I am curious as to how you girls found yourselves at the docks last Semester, And I certainly wonder why people reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club some time ago." She chuckled nervously as her team glared at her. "I doubt I'll ever get the answers I seek. So instead of waiting for you to Break the rules, why don't we just bend them?" The mission turned green as their team name appeared over it, then it vanished from the board. "Thank you proffesor." She chirped, though Ozpin shook his head. "Do not thank me for this. Stay close to your Huntsman and follow his instructions. You will be sent back if you show yourselves to be lacking. Oh and Miss Rose."
"Yeah?"
"You may want to take a smaller bag." She blinked, glancing at her rucksack then tilting her head. "What's wrong with my bag?" Yang sighed. "You can't fight with something that big on your back Ruby. Go get your smaller bag." She sighed, but did as she was told.

Ozpin watched as Team Rwby made their way to the landing pad Oobleck was waiting for them at. "Ozpin, are you sure this will work?" He nodded. "Yes Glynda, I'm certain. Miss Rose is an excellent fighter for sure, but her true strength is also her curse. When you look at Ruby, what do you see?" Glynda blinked. "I see a child that is following a fairy tale." He chuckled, then shook his head. "I see a girl who is broken, but still trying to hold on. I also see a girl who has been cursed, and who holds a great sin. Ruby holds a danger to those around her, and it is only kept at bay by ensuring she is well fed. But while it is a danger, it can also be extremely effective if deployed at the correct moment." Glynda blinked again, then scowled. "I don't like the feeling of using Ruby as a weapon, Oz."
"We aren't using her as a Weapon, we are simply pointing her in the Direction of the Enemy while hoping her Sister can keep the Collateral damage to a minumum."
