When Uraraka Ochako agreed to help clean a trash-filled beach called Takoba Municipal Beach Park, she didn't expect to find a mountain of trash, waiting to be floated. Even the sight alone made her nauseous, but the money the Musutafu Municipal offered kept her motivated. And she was told she just had to carry the pile of garbage to a truck, because a volunteer already cleaned a good chunk of trash from the beach's various spots, piling them up on the mountain.

The volunteer who was pulling a fridge towards the pile at the moment, grunted as the fridge stood proudly in its place.

The volunteer, who was shirtless, his toned muscles tensing with each pull of the fridge, and Ochako stared, accidentallyreleasing the first ever trash, a broken television, she used her quirk on a minute ago. The television met the sand with a loud thud, making her presence known.

The stranger took his eyes off the fridge and turned to her, meeting her eyes for the first time.

Now he will think you're a creep, Ochako.

The thought made Ochako blush with embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry for disturbing you! I should have been more careful! I took the gig Musutafu Municipal offered to help you clean up! I'll carry the trash you piled up here to the truck! Amazing work, by the way! God,I'm still distracting you, aren't I? So good luck and bye!"

She squawked out, waving her hands in front of her frantically. The boy contuniated looking at her, a small blush visible in his freckleed cheeks and mouth slightly agape with confusion.

He still hasn't responded?! You have done it again, Ochako, you talked his ear off! Bet the poor boy couldn't even understand which language you spoke in!

She couldn't bear the awkwardness any longer so she tapped the television on the ground, stealing its gravity once again. But before she could turn away from the boy, he smiled. He had a beautiful smile, she noticed, which turned into hearty giggles, his cheeks were flushed with glee and he had tears in the corners of his closed eyes. It was like witnessing an angel's joy, she decided, immediately blushing with the realization. But she couldn't help but giggle, too, the gentle sound coming from him soothing her nerves and making her let loose. When their shared laugh ended, she smiled kindly at him, he gave her a wobbly smile of his own.

Then all of a sudden he tilted his head, a distant look making his bright emerald orbs dimmer.

"G-good luck to you too."

He muttered, voice lacking the life it bloomed with mere seconds ago, and turned his attention to the fridge again.

Ochako took this as a cue to carry on with her task as well, and she pulled the television as she ran towards the truck, the pink ribbon she tied her hair up with falling off in the process.

At some point, she noticed its absence, but couldn't find it. She was a bit sad because her mom had bought it after Ochako mentioned she wanted to wear her hair up more often, claiming it was a cheap and small gift bashfully.

Ochako would never, ever think of a gift as small, because she knew the thought and the love behind it was bigger than she could measure.

İzuku downed half of the water in the bottle with two big gulbs, then poured the remainder on himself. He threw the now empty bottle on the pile, and put his shirt on. He grabbed his backpack and hurried to go home before it got dark, but he felt his foot kick something small, blasting off a little amount of sand in the process. He crouched down to see it was a pink the ribbon, then he remembered the funny and pretty girl.

The girl who was totally checking you out!

He shrugged to the voice that rang in his head, not giving it a possibility. After all, he was a quirkless, plain, useless Deku. No one would see him that way, he had stopped hoping long ago.
