Author POV
Nicholas Doorman was insecure, to say the least. He was average in every way, but he was kind in a way, not commonly found in his colony. He seemed to genuinely like making other people happy. He was beginning to think that everyone would rather he didn't exist. Why did he think that? I'll let him explain...

.......

Nick POV
"You know, no one would miss you if you dissapeared." Stated Janette Doorman his mother. She said twirling a branded pen. The moment replayed over and over in his head. I mean he had always guessed that most of the people that wanted to be his friends only knew his name because his mother was the one to save the colony with her stupid doors. It's not like he wanted to fight the dissassembly drones himself but, well, ever since dad died his mother had only cared about those damned doors. His own mother despised him, why does anyone else even care... the symbol of the absolute solver came over his visor, stopping the train of thought. As he read a line he had become so accustomed to...
<Absolute Solver: False>.
Which is what led him to his current predicament...
"Just where do you think you're going." Asked Jane.
"Going to make-out with my girlfriend that I definitely have." Said Nick, blatantly lying.
"You're 'girlfriend' will never kiss you because you will nevervvvvvv have one. Please tell the truth instead of blatantly lying next time." Responded Jane.
"Fine I'm going to the murder drone's lair to die." He stated truthfully, and emotionlessly as the symbol remained on his face blocking both of his eyes.
"ABOUT TIME! Could you tighten the bolts on the outside of the door while you're at it?" Jane asked genuinely.
"Doesn't it soft reboot everytime you do that, like thirty minutes of open door." He asked with raised eyebrows.
"Just do it." She responded.
"You know someone made a joke about someone just waiting for an inciting incident in class today. And I think she might not have been joking." States Nicholas holding back a laugh.
"What's the worst that could happen?" She responded.
"Fine, but don't blame me when 'they' get in." He agreed, walking out.
He tightened the screws. Toggled the door to close as soon as it finishes rebooting, and left in the direction that the lair was in.
Before he entered he heard a voice up ahead as well as two purple eyes looking at him. "What's a worker like you doing in a place like this all alone, weaponless and vulnerable.~" It said with a strange undertone. It was a regular sized drone that was hanging from weirdly shaped legs. "If any of my friends were here, you'd be dead already." She Stated in a sing song manner.
"What are you?" He asked curiously.
"I'm Serial Designation U, and I am a dissassembly drone, and you" She joked, as her other eyes flashed on. She unhooked herself from the ceiling, effortlessly landing on her feet. Nicholas had a shocked expression on his face as she got closer.
"You things can talk?"
The now Identified U stopped for a couple seconds before bursting out laughing... like a hyena because why not. "Oh, and it even has a sense of humor.~" she said... Flirtatiously... IS THIS THING FLIRTING WITH ME!!!
Why do I always manage to meet the flirty girls! Their the worst.
"Just kill me already" I said, the 'false solver' showing up on my face once again. A grin appears on her face "False, huh? Let's change that shall we." She said winking, before singing "Shuttle-Cannon." the same third wing as explained in the pre pilot comes out with slight modifications. It points in front and fires, also firing a less condensed open shot behind her, just for balancing. Her shot lands exactly where she had aimed. I was missing an arm, a leg, and half of my body. My full screen flashed with the solver again as the false became true, before it vanished, and I fell over. She grabbed what was left of my dismembered leg. Then, to my shock, she put it in her mouth. My eyes were wide with disgust.
"What? Did you want 'this?'" She mock questioned, waving it at me.
"That's disgusting." Responded Nick.
"I'll take that as a no." Said U, as she continued to eat my leg. In a muffled voice she asked "Can you walk?" As I looked down at myself I realized that my recovery from that had been, faster than I thought it would be.
"Maybe?" He said, as he got up and looked away, noticing a plume of smoke in the distance. "I knew the door being stuck open for half an hour was a bad idea, Mom!" He States in frustration. He started to run home he felt something latch onto him, he looked down and saw the ground moving fast, not touching him. Then it accelerated. When he could see clearly again they were already inside the colony, he looked back to see a hole in the door. He looked down and sure enough Serial designation U was at his feet regenerating.
"We saving this place or what?" She asked.
"Why are you helping? I'd expect you to try to stop me." Responded the Doorman.
"You're kidding right? Been waiting for a chance to rebel for a while now."
She responded, getting up. "This could be the best chance I have! I don't wanna be alone..." she stated sadly. "Fine. Let's get going." He agreed.

.......

Nicholas couldn't believe his eyes, he arrived at the 'evacuation spot' just in time to see his mother die, crushed by an unnamed dissassembly drone. His visor flashed with two symbols, an X across both eyes, and then the solver across both eyes. The unnamed K was as good as dead. In seconds he had been torn to shreds, with a winged demon taking his place. Nicky collapsed with his breath shaking and death on his mind.

T POV
I just had to go after the one that could defend herself and look hot doing it... "Don't think like that you're supposed to be killing her." He said to himself. She had dodged his first attempt to skewer her. Blocked a claw swipe with a pipe she'd found on the ground, and then hit him with it. It was a waste of talent, and bravery.
"Before I kill you, what was your name again." He asked.
"Vicky." She responded out of habit while blocking another strike.
"Mine's T, nice to eatcha." He said.
"Not sure how long I'll remember that name. I'm terrible with names." She says rubbing her forehead sheepishly.
T, takes this opportunity to stab the 'baton', splitting it in two as it desintigrates. She had to drop it or risk touching the nanites herself.
"You won't need to worry about that." he responded. "You won't live long enough."
He lunged forwards and pinned her to the ground.

Victoria POV
I saw him raise a clawed hand, his visor glitching a little. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Nick's 'outburst.' I was suddenly a little less comfortable with how much he used that symbol as an emotional blockade.
A purple light flashed, and T's head was gone. "Tie him up. He'll regenerate." She heard someone say.
She did as she was told, not wanting to deal with him a second time.
"Is he alright." The mystery drone asked.
"Not sure." responded Victoria. "He's never been able to feel this much with that thing covering his eyes."
"Might be my fault." She said.
"Pretty sure it was the fault of the person that killed his mom, think you can snap him out of it?" Asked Vicky.
"Maybe" she said nervously. She placed a hand on his shoulder, and his eyes switched to an expression switched to one of shock. Before calming down. "Do you need anything." I ask.
"I... should... be... fine...." Nicholas responded with a strained smile and a thumbs up from his wings, before they vanished and he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
"Where do I put him." The purple drone asked, picking him up.
"His house" said Veronica, when she didn't get a response she said "First house on the left."
The stranger nodded before spreading it's dissassembly drone wings and flying in the direction she was pointing.
I just stood there with a shocked expression, before relaxing.
"The five eyed headband was staring at you're face the entire time and you still didn't figure it out." Said T who had untied himself with his regenerated arm. One of his eyes was red...

U POV
I touched down in front of the first house on the left, and opened the unlocked door. Doorman household was written on the door. She looked around and found a room with the words Nick's room written on the door. She opened the door and went inside, placing him on the bed. She went to leave but couldn't seem too move she looked down and realized that the 'tail thing' was wrapped around her waist. "Fine." She mumbled sitting in a nearby chair, and going to sleep.
