Euston station was bustling, and I had so much luggage, 2 bags, my bass and my acoustic guitar. Too much to take home for 3 weeks but I could not leave my precious babys. Music helped me though my bad mental health days, so I decided to take both instruments to relax with my 3 weeks off. Luckily my flat mate Ethan, who recently moved to London to stay with me, carried my accoustic guitar as he was coming with me to meet my family, and see YUNGBLUD tommorow.

The intercon burst though the station.
"Platform 9 for the 4pm train to Manchester Picadilly Station"

"shit its 3.53" Ethan gasped as he checked his watch.
We both got up from the waiting area, and collected the masses of luggage and headded to platform 9. As we reached the platform we checked our tickets and found our carriage and sat down for the 3 hour journey ahead. Ethan had brough out his headphones to listen to music, while I cracked open my laptop to do some Uni work and scroll through insta and twitter, to see the excitement buzzing for YUNGBLUD's gig tommorow in Manchester.

After some Uni work and chatting, before we knew it the intercon on the train exclaimed we were 5 minutes till we arrived Manchester Picadilly station. Slowly, people started to gather their belongings, and me and Ethan did the same.

"Why did you have to bring two insturment's Marvine?" Ethan complained.

"So you don't miss my beautiful singing." I said in a mocking voice.

"haha very funny, I wouldn't miss it for a heartbeat"

Slowly people piled off the train onto the platform, and I used this time to pull out my phone and book an Uber to my parents house. The driver accepted the offer and would be at the station in 20 minutes. I looked up from my phone as I nearly tripped off the train with all my luggage. Ethan laughed hysterically infront of me, and I giggled as I nearly dropped my bass. We then made our way down the platform and towards the entrance of the Station. However, mine and Ethans stomac's grumbled in unison as we were hungry for our dinner.

"We have 15 minutes, should we get a subway"
I said as I eyed a subway in the corner of the station.

"Yeah i'm starving"

We both headed towards the subway, and ordered our favourites and ate them within minutes just intime for us to get into the Uber to my parents. The journey only took 25 minutes from Picadilly station, and me and Ethan spoke about which song Dom would open with, which he would close with, and which we would cry to.

"He will open with charity" I said excitedly.

"Noooo! what about weird? it will totally be weird!" Ethan protested.

"That's a good shout"

Eventually we made it to my parents where they greeted me and Ethan. It was 7.40pm and me and Ethan were exhausted, so we took our luggage to the guest room and my room. We then went downstairs and watched 'ferris bueller's day off' then headed to bed for our big day tommorow seeing YUNGBLUD perform.

A day that would change our lives.
Manchester, I don't think your ready...
