Harry woke up at eight in the morning to the sounds of things falling and breaking, he quickly got up and put his sweats on before rushing down the stairs. He found Louis and a bottle of vodka next to him in the kitchen, "Hiii, Hazzz," the smaller giggled, Harry shook his head, "How much have you had to drink, Lou?" Louis held up six fingers, "This manyyy," he giggled again.
The green-eyed man shook his head again, Louis put the bottle to his lips, and Harry was quick to take it from him, "No Lou, I think you've had enough," Harry told him, keeping the bottle out of his reach. The older pouted, "But I want moreee," he whined, "No, you've had enough; you need to go back to bed and sleep this alcohol off,"
The taller put the bottle up high before taking Louis back upstairs and laying him on the bed, "Get some more rest, alright?" Harry told him. Louis gave him a soft nod, "Stay?" he murmured quietly, "Are you sure?" Louis didn't hesitate to nod his head again.
Harry slowly climbed on the bed, keeping a bit of space between them because he didn't know how Louis would feel if he moved any closer. Louis didn't keep it that way for long since he moved closer to Harry, curling up against his chest and burying his face in the crook of his neck. Butterflies swirled Harry's flipping stomach, holding Louis tightly in his arms, he missed holding Louis so much and he wasn't about to give up the chance of doing it again.
He felt tears start to drip down his neck, making him hold Louis tighter, "It's going to be okay, Lou," Louis sniffled, "I've got you," he whispered. "I-I'm sorry," the smaller whispered, "I-I never told you the truth, I just wanted you to be free," Harry combed his fingers as he listened. "I-I broke up with you b-because I wanted y-you to be free, S-Simon said if we didn't break up he wouldn't have let y-you leave. I had to break up with you because I wanted you to be free, I'm so, so sorry, I never told you,"
Tears welled in Harry's eyes, "Oh Lou, I would've stayed with you," Louis let out loud sobs, "I-I'm so sorry," he cried out. Harry placed a small gentle kiss on Louis' hair, "I forgive you, I promise, I forgive you," Louis' body shook as he cried. Harry held him tighter until his cries died down and he fell asleep, he pressed another soft kiss to Louis' hair, seeing a soft smile appear on his lips.

3 hours later...
Harry woke up to the choking sounds of vomiting, he quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom, finding the blue-eyed man hunched over the toilet. He sat next to him and rubbed his back until Louis stopped vomiting, the older turned to Harry and hid his face in the taller's chest, tears were streaming down his face.
The green-eyed man held him close, "I need you to relax, Lou, you're going to make yourself sick again, can you calm down for me please?" Louis nodded his head shakily and started trying to take some deep breaths. After a few minutes, Louis was able to start calming down, "How are you feeling, Lou?" Louis sniffled, "My head is killing me,"
"Let's get you some medication and I'll make you something to eat, alright?" Louis nodded softly, "Thank you, I'm sorry, I'm such a mess," he murmured. Harry hugged him tighter, "You're not a mess, I know it's been hard for you the last couple of days and I want to make sure that you're okay and that you're taken care of,"
"I honestly don't know what I would do without you right now," Louis confessed, Harry's stomach swirled with butterflies, "Me too, Lou, me too," he whispered.

Once they were downstairs, Harry quickly made some pasta for the both of them, "Thank you for taking care of me this morning," Harry gave him a soft smile, "Of course... how's your head?" Louis smiled, "It's better, thank you,"
Harry smiled, "I was wondering if you're up for it maybe we could sit on the back porch with some tea we can chat and watch the snow fall," Louis gasped, "It's snowing?!" he asked excitedly. "Yes, I'm surprised you didn't notice," Harry chuckled.
"We should have a snowball fight!" Louis suggested, "There's not enough snow for that yet, Lou, maybe in the next day or two," Louis pouted, "Oh alright, but can we still have one?!" Harry chuckled again and nodded, "Of course,"
Louis smiled, "So... Tea?" Harry asked again, "Please," Louis smiled, Harry loved it when Louis smiled, he loved it when Louis was happy, he just really loved Louis.
~
Once they were outside, Louis was in one of Harry's hoodies and a pair of sweatpants, and Harry wore the same. The green-eyed man brought out a fluffy blanket that was big enough for the two of them, and Louis had the two mugs of tea. Harry sat down on the swinging bench and Louis was quick to follow, the taller covered them up before the older handed him his cup of tea.
"So, I overheard that you were working on a new album," Harry murmured, trying to start a conversation, "Uh, yeah been thinking about a few songs, I definitely won't be releasing anything until this contract is over though,"
Harry smiled, "Understandable, if you don't mind I would love to listen to some songs, you've always been the best writer out of the group," Louis' cheeks darkened as he took a sip of his tea. "T-Thanks, are you working on anything?" Harry shrugged, "I've been writing a few songs but nothing too much, I don't plan on releasing anything till next year probably,"
Louis nodded and took another sip of his drink, "How's your head?" Louis smiled, "Good, it doesn't hurt anymore," Harry smiled, feeling the smaller lean his head on his shoulder. "Good," he leaned his head on top of the blue-eyed man's, they sat there in silence as they watch the white powdery snow fall to the ground.
