In the middle of a courtyard, all the students who would participate in the Gennin Exam that year were gathered. This year's test had been changed by Sarutobi so that they could choose precisely what each team could do and the members who would have it.
Hiruzen divided this year's Gennin Exams into a few phases:
The first comes down to "accuracy". The students would need to hit the vital points of the marked targets. Each student would have 50 kunai to throw towards the test dummy and the more hits in essential parts, the better their score.
This was specialized training for assassins.
The second phase boils down to "concentration". In this workout, students need to focus their chakra and natural energy into some form and stay in that same figure for 30 minutes.
While it might seem easy, not all students had the gift of chakra and natural energy to shape it the way they wanted. But that alone made training a bit tedious. So, to make things more difficult and make the name, "concentration" make sense, Hiruzen had some people make noise to destabilize those with weak minds.
This was a stage specialized in training those who had the qualifications for the Spy Missions.
The third phase was the "invocation". This phase is very simple, in the courtyard of the Ninja Academy there is an Altar which students can use to invoke their Spirit that were classified from stars, with 10 stars being the most that has ever been seen
It is in itself not a phase where you will be immediately assigned a specific Quest, but developing the user's mind to prepare for the Spirit to come and how this same invocation will help you.

The fourth phase could be considered the most complex, since its name was "Weapons". It had a strategic model of knowing which people could best adapt to the environment and be able to use the resources available to them for survival, even if these resources are scarce.
It was a phase that made available the student's ability to enter any type of Mission, since being someone who had the quality of using any type of weapon was something naturally surprising
The fifth phase consists of "Jutsus". It is where Academy students will show what they have learned during the time they will be training at Colégio Ninja.
It is a test that encompasses the student's ability to use the Jutsus of the elements for which he has compatibility. Being someone who possesses three elements an extremely rare being
However, it wasn't just that. At this stage, you must also show your level of chakra and natural energy, something that is very important for Ninjas and how much attacks they could release with the reserve of chakra and natural energy they contained.
