Once I got him I said, "I'm home omma!"
"Your home so soon?" she said while sitting on the couch.
"Yea,"
"How was your first day at work?" she asked.
"It was great!" I said smiling.
"I just don't know why you can't tell what job is it," omma said.
"I told you I don't know what it's called," I said while taking off my coat.
"Don't take off your coat," she said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Can you be a dear and go buy groceries?"
"Oh yeah sure,"
"Okay here's a list," she said before handing me a piece of paper.
"I'll be going now,' I said while waving.
"Bye dear," Omma said.
I put the list in my pocket and walked to the store.
I opened the door and looked around.
"So what's first?" I asked myself.
Vegetables.
I walked over to the fruits and vegetables and started to pick some out in a plastic bag.
While I was doing that I noticed a girl walking around the store anxiously.
I wondered if she was okay.
Just then a boy grabbed her hand and was pulling her to the doors.
"Let go of me! I don't like you anymore," the girl cried.
"Come on Hyemi! Your overreacting," then the boy said angrily.
I wasn't going to let this happen. I put the bag aside and walked up to them.
I went up to the girl and said, "Hey Hyemi!"
I didn't know who this girl was but I am still going to help her.
"Oh hi.." she said. The boy looked at me confused.
"What are you doing at the supermarket? Omma said to go home," I said.
"Uh yes! I was going right now,"
"Okay, let's go right now," I said before holding her hand and walking out of the store.
"Thank you," the girl said.
"No problem! But shouldn't you kids be at school?" I said.
"About that.."
"Oh, I see. Well, I'm Felix," I said.
"I'm Hyemi," she said.
"Do you live near here? I can walk you home," I said.
"That would be great. Thank you again," Hyemi said.
We both walked for some time until we reached a neighbourhood.
"Well, my house is around the corner," she said.
"Okay then," I said.
"Wait. Do you have any siblings?" I asked.
"Yea, why?" she asked.
"Well because you look familiar," I said.
"I have an older brother. But I don't see him often, he's always working,"
"Oh. Well, I'll get going now," I said.
"Okay! Thank you oppa!" Hymei said as she walked to her house.
That must've been scary. I'm glad she's okay.
She looked really familiar. I can't remember.
I was about to go home when I remembered about the groceries.
Shoot. I need to go back and get them.
I ran it the grocery store and found the plastic bag of groceries at the same place I left it.
I took it and went to the register.
"Here you go sir," the lady at the front counter said while handing me the bag.
"Thank you," I said before walking outside.
As soon as I got outside I saw the same boy from before.
When he saw me he got up and pulled on my jacket.
"Where is Hyemi!" he said.
"I can't tell you," I said.
"I know you don't know her as well as I do!"
"How would you know that?" I said.
"You don't even know how to respect women!"
He grew silent and let go of me.
"Please. She doesn't want to talk to you right now,"
"You can apologize when she's ready," I said before walking away.
I got home a while later and plopped in bed.
What an exhausting day.
what time is it currently for you?
