The New Girl

Chapter One

Story Start

In the rooftops of New York, Spider-man and his team were giving chase to the supervillain Shocker. Said villain was using his gauntlets to 'leap' from building to building. The heroes followed suit and eventually caught up to Shocker, who stopped and turned to face the heroes.

Freeze Frame

The scene turned gray as everyone minus Spider-man froze in place. The web head then turned to the reader.

"Hi, the name's Peter Parker, A.K.A the ultimate Spider-man, and with me are: Sam Alexander A.K.A Nova A.K.A Captain Bucket Head, Daniel Rand A.K.A Iron Fist A.K.A. the Zen Master, Luke Cage A.K.A. Powerman A.K.A The strongest Guy I know, and finally Ava Ayala A.K.A White Tiger A.K.A the feisty feline. Anyways, the guy in a yellow net with fart gauntlets is Shocker." He pointed to his team and to the villain. "He was one of many baddies when I was in my early days as Spidey. Guy gives me headaches every time we fight, in fact I think I still have tinnitus from our last battle." Spidey said as he dug his pinkie into his ear and gently twisted. 

Freeze Frame End

"You ain't stopping me this time Spider-man!" Shocker yelled as he fired his sonic gauntlets.

The heroes leapt out of the way in order to not get hit.

"Seriously, is he just gonna ignore us? He's been focused on the Web Head since the beginning!" Nova complained as he flew into the air.

"Hey if you want to switch places, be my guest!" Spider-man said before jumping to avoid another blast. In mid-flip Spider-man shot a web bullet that hit the villain in the face. Covering his vision in the process.

"Argh!" Shocker yelled as he tried to get the web off of him. 

"Tiger, Iron Fist do your thing." Spider-man called out. 

White Tiger and Iron Fist leaped into the air and headed towards the villain. Tiger slashing her claws against Shocker's chest while Iron Fist struck him in the face. Sending him flying before hitting a wall, knocking him out cold. 

After the villain was defeated, Spider-man quickly webbed up the Shocker. Leaving him for the authorities. He then turned to face his team.

"Nice work today team." Spider-man congratulates them. "Especially you, Fist and Tiger." His words caused White Tiger to blush but she quickly brushed it off. 

"Pft. C'mon I could've taken him no problem." Nova ruined the moment by opening his mouth as he levitated towards the rest of the team. 

"Really? If I remember correctly, you were blown to SoHo." Spider-man quipped, causing the others to chuckle.

"Y-yeah...well….nevermind." Nova pouted as he failed to come up with a comeback. The others laughed at his misfortune.

"All right guys, let's get out of here." Spider-man and the rest of the team left to go to school.

MIDTOWN HIGH

A few hours had gone by and the five teen heroes had arrived in civilian clothes and headed to their English class. For once they had not been late and went to sit in their respective seats. 

"Alright class before we begin, I'd like to introduce to you a new student." The teacher began as the door to the class opened. A girl with long flowing black hair and piercing green eyes, around 5'1" in height and at the age of fifteen. Some of the boys thought she was the most beautiful girl they had ever seen. 

Peter, however, immediately knew who this was. 

~Freeze Frame~

'Laura?' He wondered to himself. "She was supposed to be upstate with the rest of the X-men. What's she doing here in Midtown? Did she come to see me? Nah."
