A tale as old as time~

The Lorax is a lovely thing, though he had always been different from others, always caring about the trees. He was a book lover of course but.. it was hard for him to find books that didn't use paper till he found his now favorite story, But that isn't important to this.

He had woken up bright and early like he does everyday and gets into his gown and heads out to the town to stop by his 2nd favorite place in the world. The Bookstore. He skipped through the streets with his hair flowing in the wind, His skin shimmered like and orange out in the light, while his yellow hair and mustache that was the color or the sun, and his blue orbs that looked like the ocean. He was Considered beautiful by most men, though usually not approached because he was a book work unlike everyone else.

There was one man who approached him though, Onceler. He had a thing for The Lorax and wanted to marry him, but the lorax though he was a pretentious dick, and he cuts down trees which is a big ick for him.

The Lorax had finally made it to the bookstore to see if there was any new book shipments. Sadly there wasn't any, but he still went and checked out his favorite book to read for the 17936382873929837493982 time. The bookstore manager Granny Norma told the Lorax "You love that book don't you, why don't you keep it, nobody ever check that one out besides you dear" The Lorax was ecstatic that he gets to have his favorite book forever and thanks granny norma before leaving the bookstore.

Walking Down the street he passes 3 girls, he doesn't understand what there problem is with him as he never talks to the girls, They always pick on him for no reason at all. He is fed up with them before the hunk Onceler interferes and tells the girls to meet him at his bar later tonight, the girls left after that leaving Him and  The Onceler alone. The Onceler wrapped his arm around Lorax giving him a sinful smirk before speaking "Well hello there again handsome" Lorax gave him an eyeroll in response knowing that Onceler comes and visits him everyday at his house asking for him to go out with him for once, always declining though. The Lorax moved The Oncelers arm off his shoulder before responding "You said that as in you weren't expecting to see me today even though you do, despite my arguing for you to leave me alone" annoyed as ever he started walking away not wanting to be near him anymore though the onceler followed him and he did his best to block out that retched voice out of his mind as he is being catcalled.

He finally got away from the asshole and shuts the door running his fingers through his hair, taking deep breaths before going to his room and put his book away then going to check on his father, The Big fat bear. He stopped at the door knocking before entering seeing his father working on his new invention to show off at the convention that his father is going to today. He went up to his asking his father what he is making. The beat answered "See you can't know just yet tis it is a surprise! everyone will be blown away by this very thing, it will bring a new era to sneedville!" His father told him with excitement finishing up the final touches before leaving the room to get his carriage ready for the long trip, with the lorax following behind to help.

As hours passed The lorax helped his father get the horse ready and invention in the carriage. The bear got settled in the carriage before the Lorax asked "If it isn't too much a problem could you bring me back a rose?" The Bear gave him a nod and a goodbye before setting off to the convention.

The Lorax walked back into the house and started clean up the food mess that was left from their late lunch. Soon enough he heard a knock at the front door, going to it and answer it seeing the onceler at the door with a smirk then walking inside like he owned the place and sitting down at a table kicking his feet up onto it and looks at the lorax. He looked at the man in disgust wanting to scream at him to leave but instead keeping his cool before the onceler spoke "Thank you for having me in your define home, will you be my new wife? my old one got boring and i need someone" The onceler paused looking the lorax up and down before continuing "more beautiful" the smirk on the oncelers lips grew wider while the lorax let out disgusted noise before yelling at him to get out, pushing him out of the chair and out the house in anger, then slamming the door shut and locking it.

.... The bear we know as the Lorax's father was on his journey before taking a wrong turn into the dark forest there is. He drove deeper into it looking all around hearing the wolves howl before seeing 2 sets of yellow eyes glowing in the shadows before jumping out, scaring the horse off leaving the bear there defenseless and running to find safety while being chased by these wolves. He comes across a gate that leads into a mysterious castle, he entered quickly not sparing to think about it and running to the castle and knocking at the door asking if anyone was there. He heard voices on the other side muffled though, but soon enough the door opened and he looked around before entering saying a thank you loudly before a candle man comes up next to him, weirdly red unlike most candles and it speaks, startling the poor man, then a clock man comes up behind the candle man, a remarkable black and red that most clocks don't have and it ushers the candle man to stop scaring him and offers him to take a seat on the couch over there. The Bear slowly and carefully made his way over to the couch shivering from how cold it was and sits down.  A pink lady Teapot comes up with a tea cup that is yellow with 2 handles offering him a cup of tea, while the teacup smiles up at him introducing himself as miles but saying to call him tails. The bear lifted the now teacup filled with tea to his mouth slowly drinking and getting comfortable on the couch before he heard a roar come from upstairs, making him terrified and quickly putting down tails to get out of there fast while the candle man and clock man quickly make there way upstairs to try and the stop the beast that the bear can hear. The Bear gets up from the couch and runs out of the palace before seeing the rose bush and stopping remembering that his son wanted a rose and the least he can do is pluck one. As he did he could hear a growl behind him and before he could turn around to see what it was he was lifted off the ground and the rose snatched from his hand harshly and quickly being taken to the cell that is upstairs being thrown into it. He looked up and saw a flash of blue before there was nothing...
