Chapter 4: Noelle's Magical Rampage

After the baptism Asta was offered a Black Bulls rope. He declined saying saying he would rather have the Black Bulls insignia sewed on his hokage robe.Vanessa sewed the Black Bulls insignia on it. After that the Black Bulls went back inside the hideout to party.

Next day
Magna gives Asta a tour of the Black Bull headquarters .During the tour, Asta is shown the dining hall, bathing area, a cage filled with beasts(Yami's pets), his room and the women's quarters. Both of them also have a chance to meet with the other new member of the squad, Noelle Silva.

She's our other new member this year." Magna's says referring to Noelle

"Nice to meet you. I am Asta Namikaze from Hage Village let's get along." Asta extending his hand to her

Noelle slaps his hands away.

"Don't speak to me so casually. You insect of a commoner." Noelle

"Insect huh. It is the first time someone has called me that." Asta laughs

"Geez commoner." Magna

"I am Noelle Silva of the royal Silva house.'' Noelle

"We are both magic knights. I don't see why our social status should matter here." Asta

"That's right Asta you tell her. Being Royal doesn't matter here." Magna

"It does very much so." Noelle

"What makes you so sure" Magna

"Foolish commoners I suppose words aren't enough to make you understand. The difference in magic should get my point across." Noelle said as she prepares to use a spell

She creates a huge water ball. She fires at Asta.Unfortunately, her attack misses Asta and smashes Magna instead.While still trying to suppress his anger, Magna demands an explanation for the attack from Noelle. However, instead of apologizing, Noelle chooses to give him a snide comment, implying that Magna is at fault. Noelle's comment quickly angers Magna as he reveals that she was only able to become a Black Bull member because Yami was kind enough after Noelle's brother rejected her from entering the Silver Eagle squad. Refusing to hear any more comments from them, Noelle storms off while discarding her squad robe.

Later
Later at the break of dawn, Asta finds Noelle training on her own in the forest next to the headquarters. She practices her aim by shooting waterballs towards a target placed on a tree. As all of her attacks miss the target, Noelle begins to question her efforts. Asta decides to go greet her.

"You look like you are working hard" Asta said

"You insect how long have you been watching." Noelle

"Here it comes the mocking" Noelle thought

At that moment, she begins to remember all of the sufferings that she received from her family, namely being shunned due to her lack of control over her magical power. Ultimately, her memories of her brother's rejection of her entry to the Silver Eagle squad.

She then tries to release another attack, but her magical power suddenly goes out of control and creates a huge sphere of water. It also releases several waterspouts that wreak havoc on the vicinity. Noelle is trapped within the sphere. Seeing the accident occurring, several Black Bull members immediately head to the scene to see it up-close.

"My goodness. '' Vanessa

"That is magic power gone out of control." Gauche

"And a hell whole a lot of it to. We are gonna have to do something." Magna

"Well attacking the thing with magic is out. She is going to get hurt if we try that. Why not use your spatial magic to pull her out of there." Yami said to Finral.

"Please be reasonable I can't get close to that." Finral

"If only there was someone around who could cancel out magic." Yami

"There is no need for that" Asta said as suddenly appeared next to Yami

"What do you mean." Yami

"I already marked her." Asta said before disappearing

He teleported to Noelle. He grabbed her. After that he teleported them out of the water sphere.

"Good job kid." Yami

"Here it comes the mocking." Noelle thought remembering what her brother said.

"You are a failure." Nozelle

"You have potential. If you learn how to control your power you will surely become a powerful magic knight. So don't give up. Work even harder from now on." Asta

"Insect. I mean Asta." Noelle said with a blush

"What is that all. You ran away because you cannot control your magic power. Should have said something sooner you royal failure." Magna

Noelle felt sad when Magna called her a failure.

"I mean come on. This is the Black Bulls. We are a whole squad of failures." Magna

"So maybe you got a weakness or three it does not matter to us you big dummy." Magna

Noelle cheers up.

"Anyway we are glad you are alright. Oh and I know this place that makes killer pasta if you want to check I out with me sometime." Finral

"Forget pasta have a bite of this." Charmy says holding a cupcake

"That was quite a show you put on. I happen to be particularly gifted at controlling my magic power so I can teach you. And also I can give you some womanly advice." Vanessa

"I will tell you all about what a angel my sister Marie is." Gauche

"Let's work hard together" Asta said as he extends his hand to Noelle.

"I am looking forward to working with you." Noelle said as she took Asta's hand.

After that Asta explained to everyone that he marked them. And if they were in danger he would be there in a flash to help them.
