Do you need a place to stay?

Me and Ri enjoyed our time relishing back on old times with ollie and watching monsters inc but between Ri's natural body heat and the fact that we were both tired even though it was only 12 in the afternoon we ended up taking a nap.

I woke up about ten minutes after Ri did, not wanting to wake up, I groaned "Ugh, what time is it" which Ri replied with "its 2:30, time to get up sleepyhead." "You get up first, shitbird" I reply jokingly. In retort Ri grabs a cup of water off of the side table and starts splashing it on my face.

"Ah Ri, stop, you're getting me wet!" I laugh, squealing.

"Well. since your up now, you better stay that way, I'm hungry. Want lunch?" 

"Yes" I smiled in response. Me and Ri both start walking towards the kitchen to find something to eat, opening up the cupboards, fridge, freezer, and snack drawers finding nothing in return. 

"Mikayla when are your parents coming back home? i haven't seen them in months and you don't even have any food." ri comments with worry in his eyes. I can't even blame him for being worried, i know i would be too. In reality I'm not even sure when my parents will be back home. I haven't seen them in five months all they said before they left was about how i got them into the mess with ollie and its all my fault and there so disappointed in me for not remembering that they are ashamed to call me their daughter so they went to the store bought some food and said they would be gone for a while, they never said how long they were going to be gone for. They gave no time frames all they said was that it was going to be a while before i ever see them again.

"I'm not sure to be honest, all they said was that they will be gone for a while and bought me some groceries that i went through in the first month. But im fine Ri, really, I love new york pizza anyway. Let's just go out to eat if that's ok with you?" I replied trying to not make Ri to worried since they have enough stuff already going on in his life, he doesn't need my family life added on top of it.

"Oh my god Mika, did they at least leave you money?" Ri frowned with worry in his eyes. All i could lie in response was "Mhm" I mean who lies to the person who is just worried about your well being i felt awful but i could tell that Ri could see right through my bullshit. Getting increasingly worried he suggested that i come and live with him saying that the whole downstairs is theirs and his parents dont care what he does down there as long as they dont break anything. I know that i should accept the offer but i cant bring myself to do it, ive already pushed myself on Ri and extraordinary amount the last few months i cant fathom bothering him in the middle of the night too. The boy needs privacy and i want to respect that.

I was about to decline Ri's offer to go and live with them when he said.

"Mikayla, I know how you think and I need you to know that this isn't disrespecting my privacy, i offered it to you i still have my own room to sleep in and we'll have our own privacy i just really want you to contemplate living with me for better protection, food, and to just not live alone. You mean a lot to me and your one of my closest friends so please. I want to help."

"Fine" i say still feeling guilty.

"Fine?" Ri questioned.

"Yes, I'll live with you!" I smile and hug Ri thankful for everything he has done for me.

"Good! Now let's go out and get some food and we'll talk about the living arrangements" Ri said obviously happy I agreed.
