Jessica's POV

I check the time and see that it's 12:30.
"Do you guys wanna go eat?" I ask, they all pass except Rocky. Just my luck. We get up and walk to a diner. We sit at a table and wait for someone to come serve us.
"Thank you do much, Jessica. It means a lot. " Rocky says, putting his hand on top of mine. I blush and nod.
"Why do you need to, though?" I ask him.
"I don't even know to be honest. My dad said that he didn't want to pick Ross because of all the Raia and Raura stuff. He didn't pick Riker because of Rallison, which is a bad reason to be honest. He didn't pick Ell or Del because of Rydellington. And he didn't choose Ry 'cause of Ryvannah."
"What about Rocklexa?" I thought that they were a thing.
"Oh. We were never together. We were just close friends."
"Oh right." This is awkward. We can't 'date' if it's awkward. The waitress cones and takes our orders. Soon after she leaves, my spine rings. I look at the caller ID and it's my dad. My heart pounds and m hand starts shaming. I haven't spoken to my dad for 3 years. Rocky gives me a worrying look and I answer it.

(J-Jessica D- Dad)

J-Hello?
D-Hi, sweetie!
J-What?
D-You're staying with me for a few months!
J-WHAT?!
D-You're mum left the key under the flower pot outside the door. She's not gonna be home.
J-Unum.
D-You can come here at around 10. You know my adress, right?
J-Yeah.
D-Okay, I'll see you later, princess.

I hang up and a tear rolls down my face. All the memories come back and suddenly, Rocky is beside me.
"What's up?" He asks me and wipes my tear away. I look at his concerned face and bury my face in my hands.
"I hate my life." I confess to Rocky.
"Don't say that, Jess."
"I haven't spoken to my dad in years." I look up at him. " And today he decides to suddenly call and tell me that I'll responding a couple months with him."
"Its gonna be fine. " I've heard that before.
"No it won't. " a couple minutes later, our food gets here and we start eating.
"When do you have to go?" I take a deep breath and take a sip from my drink.
"I have to be there by 10."
"Okay. Lets not go back home. Lets go to the beach or something."
"Sure." We finish our food and ask for the bill.
"I'll pay." He says.
"Nope. I will."
"Keep telling yourself that." Agent he woman comes for the money I pay. Rocky didn't like it so be walked out without me as a joke. I running up to him and jump onto his back. He grabs my legs and starts running with me. Okay, this might work out.

It's 8 o'clock now and Rocky and I are still at the beach. We've had so much fun together. We've already stopped at my house to pick up my stuff. I wondered where my mum went but I just ignored that thought.

We start walking to my dad's house which is like, a minute away from the Lynch's. When we're outside the door, I kiss Rovkys cheek and we plan on going to the beach tomorrow at 10. He leaves and I knock on the door. My dad opens it.
"Hi, princess!" He says and hugs me. I don't hit him back because you don't ignore me for 3 years and then just suddenly start speaking to me and tell me that I'm staying with you for a couple months! No. I go up to my old room and put my stuff down. I sit down and try to take all of this in.
