Day 2, Danger and New Comrades?

 [Early in the morning, Day 2]

"What the-"

A gunshot wound? No that was in a completely different place. That was probably the last thing I had seen from when I was alive.

   "How are you feeling?"

"Decently okay, wait, how long have you been up?"

   "I just woke up myself."

"Ah okay, did you dream too?"

   "I did dream."

"What type of dream was it?"

   "It was a very uneventful dream, I was forcing myself to do something I didn't want to. I wanted to wake up as soon as possible."

I nodded "Did you fall asleep around the time I had?"

   "Yes, I think we've both woken up around the same time too."

"So we don't need to worry about getting attacked at night."

"Do you mind if we go looking for more people?" I ask.

   "Not at all, I'll follow you."

 When the two had found other people, the two young women were being held at gunpoint by Balaam.

   "______, will you allow me to use my gun?" Argo asked

"Of course! We need to help them!"

   "Alright, after you then"

 We both briskly walked towards them, I kept my distance and aimed my Bow, an arrow appearing in my hand.

   "Pardon me." Argo said as he punched Balaam.

   "Hey! Oww! What the hell!?" Balaam said.

   "Hilde, don't just stand there!" The young woman with grey hair said.

   "I don't know. These things, they just keep happening." The confused woman said.

I shot the arrow at Balaam, a new one appeared in its place.

   "Woooaaaah! Almost got myself killed there." He said looking around for me, Argo shot at him while he was doing so.

   "Eek! Mommy!" The brown woman said, running to her friend.

 I start walking up to them, "Hello there, what are you twos names?"

   "Oh uh, I'm Kirell and this is Hilde." Kirell said.

   "Hello! It's nice to meet you, even if in this bad situation!" Hilde said holding her hand out, I shake it.

"It's nice to meet you both too."

   "That's what I'm talking about! This is exactly what I wanted! I might be a bit outgunned though."

   "Alright. I guess that's all for today. Alright people, next time."

 [Balaam rushes out of sight]

 [Around sunset]

   "I believe we should call it a day here and get some rest."

   "Wow, that was one crazy, dangerous day. Oh and before I forget. ______, Argo. Take these letters." Hilde said handing out two letters

"Oh uh thanks," I said opening the letter, "Hmmm, I suppose these relate to your task?"

   "Yeah, I'm supposed to tell someone how I really feel inside, and I think I'm supposed to do it with these letters, but I honestly don't know how." Hilde said.

   "If nothing has changed since yesterday we all should be falling asleep soon."

   "Before that, I'd like to know more about you two."

   "Well we met on the first day. And like that we became best buddies!" Hilde said

   "Hilde, don't." Kirell said.

   "Awww, is Kirell shy~"

"You two have quite a relationship. Me and Argo met on the first day aswell and became partners or well, comrades since." I explained.

   "By the way, what's your task Argo?" Hilde asked

   "I'm afraid I can't tell you."

   "Huh? Why? I told you all about mine."

 He's looking at me as though asking for help. "Me and Argo agreed not to talk about sensitive topics, though I can tell you about my task if you'd like?"

   "Oh so you both have already reached an agreement between the two of you, I'm sorry I had no idea." Hilde apologized

   "I hope you understand Hilde."

   "I do!" Hilde exclaimed

   "Also I feel like you and ______ might've known each other Argo, you two just click like you were dating or something. Anyways Kirell, can we talk?"

 [Some moments later]

 There was, awkward silence to say the least, especially from what Hilde said, Argo broke said silence.

   "What do you make of what Hilde said?"

"I honestly can't say much, but it might be because we're helping each other out? Even so we both don't have much memory of who we were."

   "I find it quite difficult to deal with people like Hilde."

"Right, you and me are quite different than she is."

   "I'm not gonna deny that. Anyways the more people on my team, the better. Given my gun."

"Oh yeah, is it right to assume that gun of yours only works with special conditions?"

   "Yes, my gun only works when someone wants it to, which is why I asked earlier." He explained.

   "It's difficult for me to manage people though."

"I'm sure some people find it hard to handle you with your questions aswell."

   "You seem to understand what I'm getting at. I look forward to your help."

   "Anyways I'm glad you were the first one I joined forces with."

 Hmmm who knew Argo had a soft side to him, he must trust me.

   "It's time like this I wish I had a different task."

 Huh?
