I put my phone down on the tabel and i lean back in my chair
Tegan : uhh
I get up and i go to the kitchen cleaning up my glass and i quickly dry up putting it back in place and i cheak to make sure all the backdoors are locked and i go out of the kitchen getting my phone and i walk out the door locking up the restaurant.
Guy : tegan
I turn around with my key in my hand
Ben ; woah woah its me Tegan ; jesus Ben : sorry did not mean to scare u Tegan : sorry for almosg stabbing u Ben ; my fault for getting so close Tegan : what are u doing here Ben ; just had dinner with some mates up the road my cars parked up the road Tegan : ah Ben ; what are u doing Tegan; i work here Ben ; should have said u worked at a restaurant i would have forced everyone to come here for a meal .
I let out a little laugh
Ben : what u doing right now Tegan; nothing i am so bored i sat in there for ages even tho we've been closed for ages . What u doing Ben ; still early u want to do something Tegan: what's there to do Ben ; hoping u had some ideas Tegan ; my only idea is sit in garden Ben ; sitting in the garden is good for me
I open the restaurant doors again and i let him in and i lock the doors back up
Tegan ; what do u want to drink we have everything Ben ; water Tegan ; just water Ben ; yes please Tegan ; ok
I go behind the bar and i get us both water
Ben ; will u boss be ok with us here Tegan ; my parents don't care as long as the place gets locked Properly Ben ; your parents own this place Tegan : yh
I hand him his drink and i open garden doors and i turn the lights on
Ben ; it well nice out here Tegan ; me and my mum got bored in lockdown and completely redone this whole garden Ben ; well u done a good job Tegan; what i like to hear
We sit down
Ben ; how long have your parents owned the restaurant Tegan; just before i was born so...22 years or so Ben ; a long time Tegan; yh Ben ; is working here gonna be a forever thing Tegan ; yh my parents gave me the freedom to go and explore find what i want to do . But cooking and working here what i want to do and then i do social media Ben ; i remember u saying the first ever time we met

Tegan: what did we talk about that night Ben ; just random stuff Tegan: but what stuff Ben ; we spoke a little about ourselves and then we spoke about how friends ditched us and then the rest was just random i do not remember.
