50 Days

Phil entered the local coffee shop, clutching to his jacket, shivering from the cold from the outside.

He went to the cashier, one of his best friends, Chris.

"Hey Ch-Chris! It's free-freezing out there!" Phil said, still shivering from the coldness.

"The heater is blasting. But it's still freezing. I probably have to get it fixed. Anyway, regular?" Chris asked, pressing on the computer to put Phil's order.

Phil nodded and prepared his payment. He gave his payment and went to get his drink.

After a few minutes, PJ, his other best friend and co-worker of the coffee shop, came and gave his drink.

"So Philly, what's up?" PJ asked and used Phil's ridiculous nickname that he clearly didn't like.

Phil rolled his eyes, "51 days left, ugh, I hate it! The doctor said that they can't do anything and there's no medication or anything!" He said in disappointment.

PJ and Chris knew about Phil's strange, very rare illness. He could still hang-out and walk around because it isn't a virus or infectious. Though it is passed down by his ancestors, and he was the only one who got it in his family.

"Don't worry Philly! We'll always be here for you. Oh and someone seems to be checking you out." PJ said as he started to point at a curled brown haired boy, who suddenly blushed a lot and looked away in embarrassment when he noticed PJ pointing at him.

Phil looked at him, then looked at PJ. "He seems cute." Phil says as Chris went beside PJ and grabbed him by the hip, smiling at PJ, who put his head on Chris' shoulder.

Chris and PJ confessed each other's feelings to each other a few weeks back and their lives has been pretty much perfect. Phil wasn't jealous, but more like lonely. Ever since, Phil wanted to be with someone, someone who can relate to him, or even someone he can love.

"You should go up to him then!" Chris exclaimed as Phil shook his head in shock.

"No-No way!! He'll hate me! I-I can't-" Phil said in disagreement. It's not that he didn't want to meet him, it's just that he's extremely nervous.

"Aw, Philly's nervous! I promise you, you'll be fine." PJ interrupted.

"Bu-but how! How did you guys get together?" Phil asked as Chris started to think, giving out a thinking impression.

"Just say hi, uh talk about the things you like, and then say how you'd like his big, juicy-"

"PJ!!" Phil interrupted PJ and covered his mouth, making his drink almost spill. Thankfully, the cafe is empty, the only customers were Phil and the brown-haired boy.

"Use your northern accent then. 'Hello, uh my name is Phi-'"

"IM NOT THAT NORTHERN!" Phil interrupted Chris as a slight giggles can be heard at a distance.

They all looked at where the noise came from, and it came from the curled brown haired boy.

The curled brown haired boy blushes madly and looked away, continuing to sip his drink.

"Just go up to him. You'll be fine." PJ reassured, trying to 'whisper'.

"Uhh, fine." Phil gave out, still nervous. He got his drink and started to walk to his table.

The curled brown-haired boy was drinking his drink in a table that was located in the bottom right corner which made Chris and PJ easy to watch them.. Well, 'secretly'.
