The club.

Graces POV:

Tonight Adam is hosting an event at one of the clubs he owns. I heard it one of the biggest club events every year. Since moving to this city for this job, I haven't gotten out as much as I'd like so I invited one of my childhood best friends to go with me, Chloe. The event started tonight at 6pm, Chloe was going to pick me so we can ride together.

I was still at Adams house from staying the night, so I got up and got my morning started. Adam wasn't in bed when I woke up, I figured he was downstairs doing work as usual, I wish sometimes he could just take a break. Finishing up getting ready, I headed downstairs to search for him.
"Adam?" I called throughout the house.
I didn't hear anything so I went to his office room downstairs, "Adam?"
"Not now grace, I'm a little busy" he says to me without lifting his head to meet eye contact with me. I closed the door slightly without saying a word and headed to the kitchen for breakfast.I understand he's busy a lot but I wish that on the weekends, him and I could have more intimate and alone time.
After eating, I packed my bags up and waited for Chloe to come pick me up, I told her to come get ne a little earlier so I can give Adam his personal space.
Phone dings*
I look down at my phone to see Chloe texting me she was here in the driveway. I went back to Adams office to tell him I was leaving with a friend,
"Adam,I'm leaving with my friend Chloe. We'll be there tonight at the event, I just thought I'd give you some space to finish up your work."
He lifts his head up slightly, not taking his eyes off his computer, " okay, be safe".

Him not giving me the slightest attention made me upset. He usually walks me out, or kisses my forehead, or kisses my lips before I depart from him to go anywhere. He Couldn't even meet eye contact with me.
I Walked out and got in Chloe's car with my bags so she could take me back to my place and we can start talking about the event tonight.
I had a plan In mind..

If he's too busy to even acknowledge me now, I bet he'll acknowledge me when I arrive at the event tonight with the tiniest see through dress In front of all his business partners, with my long black heels that wrap around my thighs that drive him crazy every time I wear them. He tells me that those heels and dress are to be only wore around him,only to be seen by him.
I told chloe my plan ,
"YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD" she further influences me.
"I BET HIS EYES WILL BE ON YOU THEN"she says excitedly feeding off the suspension.
" oh that's the point."i say with a smirk.
"Let's get ready for tonight, shall we?" I say as we laugh.
"This might even do the job a little more" she says holding up a lace lingerie set that goes under the dress but can be seen through it.
"this is perfect, this will drive him insane." I say grabbing it and holding it.
Inside my head I can imagine how possessive Adam will be seeing me enter the club with his favorite outfit on that he says is only for his eyes.
Now, I'll have all your attention baby.
