Chapter 3 - Discussion With My Birth Donor

Adrien swallowed uncomfortably at the silence that was the dining room, which was supposed to be filled with laughter and talking.

Or, so normal families would say.

Seeing Marinette's family, despite her being really creepy, made him sort of envy her and make him miss his loving mother all the more.

It was as if when mother disappeared, father had completely given up on him..

If the little sad huff Adrien gave under his breath said anything, Gabriel nor Nathalie noticed it.

It was when Adrien picked out at his food with his fork (which, btw, is NOT even enough for a growing boy #letadrieneat) did Gabriel notice.

After giving a displeased sigh and placing down his tablet, the man looked at his son and said, "What is the matter with you, Adrien?"

Adrien dropped his fork when he flinched, not used to hearing his father's voice at the dining table.

Realising that wasn't proper etiquette for someone who is rich and a model, he picks up the fork before placing it next to his plate and puts his hands in his lap before turning to his birth donor.

Adrien visibly swallowed before speaking, "Father, do I need to have a photoshoot after school today...? Kitty Section has a small concert today and I need to be there as one of the members since I play the piano"

Adrien paled when he heard his father's frustrated sigh.

"I still have no idea why you joined that petty little band. That Anarka woman is nothing but trouble, along with her two little delinquents" Gabriel couldn't help but mutter in disgust.

Adrien had the urge to defend Anarka, especially because she was a much better parent than Gabriel could ever be, and defend Juleka and Luka even more, as one was his classmate and the other his bandmate (*cough* future boyfriend *cough*)

Gabriel looked even more disgusted now, "Not to mention that Juleka Girl, the way she looks at that, what was her name again that you told me about your classmates? Ah yes, Rose, how they hold hands and cuddle is very.. unnatural."

Honestly, his father being homophobic doesn't even surprise him, it does make him a little sad though.

He's known he's been bisexual for a while, meeting Luka awakened it, cause even though he wants to remain loyal to his lady, Luka was no doubt good looking too.

With his Deep Blue eyes, his black and blue fluffed up hair, his smile...-

Adrien got so lost in his daydreaming that he didn't realise his father left the dinner table until Nathalie called out to him.

"Adrien, you might want to leave if you don't want to be late for school" Nathalie said as she pushed her glasses up her nose.

Adrien flushed, hoping the colour wasn't so obvious before saying "Sorry Nathalie, I'll do it now"

Nathalie nodded, "I shall go get gorilla to escort you"

Her heels clicking as she left the room, he waited for the sound of the door to shut behind her before burying his face in his palms as his cheeks and ears heated up in misery.

'Holy shit, I have a crush on Luka Couffaine...'
