the sound of laughter, and talking was overwhelming finney. he was now sitting in his classroom next to robin, as he hated it already; the thing griffin told him was bothering him too. he knew griffin was probably joking but he kinda did want to ask robin what his favorite color was, just for the fun of it. finney knew he shouldn't be overthinking such a tiny stupid question though. mr craig started his lesson, the essay wasnt due till friday of next week; so finney wouldnt have to worry about it just yet.
he was getting bored, science usually never bores him at all. but he knew why it was this time. maybe he should just ask him the question? maybe they could start something. like maybe some sort of " talking stage " ? finney looked over to robin, he was drawing all over his paper. finney stared, he started to stare off into space while continuing to watch robin draw stars and swirls in the tiny corners of his worksheet.
until robin stopped and slightly turned his head over at finney, "what now?" he whispered. finney was caught off guard completely and flinched out of his little trance, he knew robin didn't like him already and he regretted staring. great, now he started more problems didn't he? "whats your favorite color?" finney spat out. he didn't know what he was doing. it was like his head went on complete autopilot, and that never happens. at least its never ever happened ever since his last crush.
"..why? so you can stalk me even more?" robin looked like he was holding in a laugh, "what? i dont stalk you, i dont even know you." finney made a blank face, unsure what to say. "my favorite color's green." robin looked away and went back to drawing, "weirdo.." he muttered while chuckling a bit.
finney sighed, he was glad that was over. but he was so confused. why did he lose himself? it was just a question. maybe he was nervous? maybe he just forgot what to say?
he didn't know.
maybe he did.
what if.? no.
his thoughts where practically consuming him. he didn't like robin did he? no, he doesn't even know this kid. 'its just thoughts right?' .. 'right?' finney put his head in his hands and dragged them down, he refused to think about it anymore. maybe he was just having a weird day. he just needed to stop thinking about robin and stop letting himself get distracted.

the rest of science went by slowly, finney kept glancing over at robin every once in a while. he always had a slight smile on his face when robin looked in his direction. finney was seriously confused, he knew something was up and he knew he never even met robin personally, he needed to. before he could even make up his decision.——————
as the bell rings, robin gets up and looks at finney. he was packing up his space sticky notes into his pencil pouch, he zipped it up. "cool sticky notes." robin said, finney looked up straight ahead and then up to robin. "thanks.." he didn't quite know what to say. why was he being nice to finney?
"i'll um, i'll see you later?" robin said holding out his hand. finney got up, "yeah, see you later." finney smiled and shook robins hand, quickly walking away after. smiling to himself,
maybe he did like robin.
TIME SKIP TO LUNCH.
