it was monday, vance griffin and finney including gwen were all walking to school together. the three boys decided to meet up with eachother before school, and since finney walked with gwen everyday; she would come along too.

"soo.. are you starting the tutoring soon?" griffin asked, turning his head towards finney. "well—" he was cut off by his sister, "who are you even tutoring?" she snapped playfully. "because first you're talking about someone you need to get your mind off of—" "robin arellano, im tutoring robin arellano." he huffed at the end of his sentence, "yeah, the dickhead." vance spoke up, "vance!" finney yelled, "what?! dont yell at me! its not my fault i actually see what a bitch hes hiding underneath whatever hes, giving you."  he looked over at finney, "hes not— okay.." he whispered the 'okay'.

as the two connected schools got closer and closer as the group approached them, finney looking down a bit wondering how his day would end up being like. "well im gonna go, dont get into shit. and tell me about more the tutoring after school." gwen patted her brothers arm, jogging away from the boys as she saw her group of friends waiting for her.  her brother watched, and slightly waved while she wasn't looking. he turned the other way back to griffin and vance, but it looks like he bugged in on a conversation.

"i told you a million times that reading online is worse than reading an actual book—" "no its not! you can literally do it on your phone and plus who just sits there and reads actual books all day?!" vance fought back, "you're so addicted to that phone, it scares me vance.. you should try reading an actual book." griffin continued; vance always thought reading online was better than reading an actual book. , which griffin both finney disagreed with. griffin always thought it was bad for your eyes staring at a screen for that long, and finney agreed with it.. although sometimes he does get caught up in online books sometimes..

and mind you vance hopper has never read an actual book in his life, the only times he ever has was in first grade, and once for a school project. if he was assigned a book he just never read it. "what are you two fighting about this time?" finney budded in, he scoffed as he was done with their bickering. "vance still thinks reading online is better than reading an actual book, which its not because—" "i dont caree! i still think online reading is better. resting my case stagg you cannot change my mind." vance crossed his arms and laughed slightly, "so stop being a dick." he said separately,

griffin just rolled his eyes; "i am not dealing with him anymore." he whispered to finney as they walked through the doors of the school. laughter and talking, mostly shit talking was heard while the three walked in the center of the hallway. vance sucked his teeth and darted his eyes around the halls, "hopefully we dont run into mister dickface bandanna this time." he muttered, "i can still hear you, and what is your problem with him anyway?." finney says with complete no emotion as he kept looking forward, "can we just go to our lockers please? i need to grab something i forgot about yesterday, enough of this robin talk." griffin stated, walking a bit ahead of them. "well hes in a rush.." vance blurted out, shrugging; "welp we have our own problems.. and you mostly since you still think reading online is better than—" "okay fuck off about that blake!" he smiled.

vance always had his stuff with him in his bag. mostly.. because he was too lazy to ever really use his own locker. he thought those things were gross, and his first class didnt use any papers, since it was all computers.. so most of the time he would stand by finney and look out for him, to make sure no bullies came around. surprisingly no bullies have harassed them yet, which was strange... very, very strange. obviously none of the boys cared though, they like it like that.
