3:awkward question

Kaleb pov:

Second day of school, Yay I'm so excited.

I know it sounds like I said that sarcastically but I'm actually being dead serious. I get to see Mason at school and I was gonna see if I could maybe get his number...wish me luck.

I meet Mason again in the auditorium waiting for the bell to ring, man he looks so nice.We start just randomly talking about some things like are least favorite teacher and such.Mason then asks me who my friends were when we paired for soccer teams yesterday in gym. I respond with,"just some random guys I used to be friends with back at my old school, they had no one else they knew in class so they forced me to be on their team, but to be honest I couldn't care less about them"

This comment actually made him smile a little and he asks," do you think maybe we can pair up today instead... it's fine if not"I had to stop myself from putting a dumb big smile on my face."Yes please I'd much rather be with you then those guys" I say while slightly blushing.Mason and I just start looking at each other awkwardly and then the bell rang.

During first period, me and Mason were passing notes and then I decided to write down "Can I have your number? I know it sounds weird but I was maybe thinking we could hang out sometime this week at my house" God, that felt so embarrassing to write. I pass the note to him and he reads it. I think he was kinda blushing but I can't tell.He passes the note back to me and it says " yeah sure, that sounds fun it's **********" " Thanks I'll text you when I'm home" I write on the note then passing it back to him. I think I have a dumb big smile on my face but oh well, the bell then rings and we get through our next few classes till it's time for gym.

We have to play hockey in gym in which I guess isn't so bad. Mason and I pair up and luckily we only have to play with two players on our teams so we can play together with nobody else. The game starts and we're playing against the girls who were on Mason's team yesterday. We were doing pretty good against them 2-1 but then as Mason and I were running the one girl says, " Not gonna lie... you guys are such a cute couple, you two should already get married."

That comment flustered me and Mason a lot and so we didn't look where we were going and ended up crashing into each other. I literally couldn't get up cause one,that really hurt but also that comment really threw me off. The girls ended getting two more goals while me and Mason were on the floor and they ended up winning. Gym then ended and Mason I walked out the gymnasium both being very awkward.

I got through the next two periods and they were sooooo boring without Mason.The day then ended and I walked home and texted Mason.

Kaleb: Hi it's me Kaleb from school.

Mason: Heyy Kaleb, you said you wanted to hang out does tomorrow work after school?

Kaleb: Yeah that works perfectly, see ya at school tomorrow :)
