chapter 1
Y/n's pov

i had started dating the grumpy guy at school for a few months now.

he was your typical bad boy. had everyone's attention, hardly talked and rarely tolerated anyone.

every girl in school had a crush on him. i didn't understand why until i started dating him.

he was the sweetest to me and did anything to make me happy.

as a result of us dating, i also hung out with his friend group a lot.

currently, he's hanging out with them in his living room while i'm baking cookies for them.

H/n protested, saying that his friends don't need cookies and that he just wanted me in his arms but i i insisted i baked for them. baking has been a passion of mine for so long, i just couldn't resist when the opportunity arose.

after popping the cookies in the oven, i looked over my shoulder to see everyone enjoying themselves except for H/n.

instead, he was sitting there with the same stoic expression he always had.

i chuckled, making him immediately turn his head in my direction.

"smile" i mouthed, making him huff and shake his head.

i just giggled at his reaction, and got back to what i was doing.

once the cookies were done, i sprinkled a little sea salt and plated them before i served them to H/n and his friends.

"enjoy you guys" i smiled, walking over to H/n.

he immediately grabbed me and pulled me into his lap, burying his head into the crook of my neck.

"i missed you, love" he breathed out, making me giggle.

"i was only gone for a bit" i replied, lifting his chin up and kissing him.

"still, the only time i won't miss you is when you're in my arms" he smiled.

i realised that it was quiet and i looked around to see his friends looking shocked.

"what?" i asked, confused as to why everyone looked like they had seen a ghost.

"he's known us for years, yet he's never ever smiled around us" Aaron, one of his friends, muttered.

"yeah cause Y/n makes me happy, you guys make me miserable" H/n mumbled back.

i giggled at his response.

"adorable, isn't he?" i grinned as i fed him a cookie.
