Finding Paradise

The day

8am

I was woken up by a banging sound from the door, I rubbed my eyes open adjusting it to the sunlight and yawned 'I'm still sleepy' I thought. "Gabriel wake up!" I heard Marshall's voice from across the door. "Coming" I answered. I stood up and removed my blanket and opened the door. I was met with a cheery Marshall trying to hold his laughter. "What do you want?" I bristled. "We're having breakfast downstairs. Come on we have a lot of things to do today" he took my wrist and dragged me towards the elevator. "Hey! you could stop now." He finally let go of me rest and the elevator door opened and we arrived at the lobby, we headed straight to the hotel's restaurant and I was met with a sight of the other members bickering.

"Gabe baby your here, come eat with us, don't mind the others, they're just debating over the choreography" Jake said, handing me a plate. "Yes, Good morning everyone, except Marshall" I mused and proceeded to take a piece of pancake on the table, pouring on syrup. "Hey! that was uncalled for" Marshall said. The others all greeted good morning and we started eating again. "What were y'all arguing about?" I chimed in. "Apparently Finn wanted us to have a choreography for the opening" Flame answered and proceeded to take a bite of his pancake. "It's a greach ise-a," Finn replied with food in his mouth. "Absolutely not! Were a rock band for a reason not some silly pop-stars," Flame hissed. Now the argument is back again. "It will be great fan service"

"Since when did you care about fan service huh, Finn," Flame countered. Oh lord. "Since now" Finn deadpanned. "How about the majority vote, who wants this choreography for tonight?" Jake initiated, Marshall and Finn raised their hands. I could not decide. I don't know what's best for the fans. "Flamey, just agree I know you could bust some moves" Marshall started moving his hands in a silly motion and Flame glared at him. I bursted laughing and the others joined in as well. "Well I guess we should do a show for them."

"I thought you were on my side," Flame said to Jake. "I like it," Jake shrugged. We then ate again, and afterward, we returned to our rooms. Jake informed me earlier that we would be going to the concert venue at three o'clock in the afternoon and told us to rest first. But I won't, after taking a bath I decided to go check out Tombstone. Yesterday, I noticed a brochure advertising Arizona tourist attractions in the foyer. I'd like to explore. Today I decided to wear a white turtleneck with blue jeans and got my backpack out of my suitcase and started filling some stuff I need for this. I finish getting ready by 9:20. I texted Finn that I will be heading out and go to the Tombstone in which replied 'ok, I will tell the others. Be safe.' I went to the lobby and got myself a taxi to go there.

Upon arriving the air felt humid there. I saw pretty historical buildings. It looks like they preserved it really well. First, I went to check out the courthouse and it looks like a scene from an old movie with the wooden chairs and the podium where the judge sits. So cool I took a lot of photographs on my phone. Outside the courthouse there was a hanging trial. I used to remember my adopted parents would scare me from these trials. They always say if I don't behave properly they would bring me to the trial and my head would be cut off, because of that I vowed to be a good kid ever since.

After exploring a bit of the town I bought tickets to the gun show and watched it. Great show indeed I like the acting although I was disappointed that they only use fake guns instead of real ones. I chuckled at the thought that they would all die if they used real guns. I bought myself a snack from the shops nearby and ate while walking.

I went to check out the horses and I wanted to ride one. The horse I picked was brown. Her name was "Rainbow," odd I thought. Getting up on the horse was hard, luckily the horse tamer helped me get up and even instructed me on how to move the horse direction only using the rope attached to their face. Pretty cool experience I would say, but I was accompanied by the horse tamer for safety purposes, he was walking next to us.

After the horse back-riding I checked out the silver mining. It had a mini tour in which the tour guide explained some geological facts about the silver mines. I checked my watch to see the time and noticed it's already 12:30 pm. I gotta hurry up and get back soon. I got myself a taxi and headed straight to the hotel.

Upon arriving at the hotel I texted Finn 'where they were' Finn replied with eating lunch at the restaurant. I proceeded to go inside and saw them eating. They waved at me and I sat down next to Jake. I noticed they were already done with their food. The plates were almost empty, luckily there was leftover shrimp and pasta. While the others were engaged in conversation, I simply ate. The meal was delicious. I used to remember Bonni being allergic to shrimp but nonetheless still ate it at every celebration in Pennsylvania. "Since we're all done let's go and rest for a while before going to the venue," Flame initiated. We all left the dinner table and went to our rooms. I took the time to sleep for a while since I won't be doing anything later just checking on the others.

3 o'clock in the afternoon, I jolted from my sleep, my alarm ringing loudly. I'am still sleepy. I don't wanna get out of bed. Urgh! I went to fix myself in the bathroom. After tidying myself I went to the lobby and saw the guys except for Marshall. "What's taking him so long?" Jake grew annoyed. "You know how Marshall likes to prepare for stuff." Flame answered. Next thing I know Marshall arrived wearing a white tank top and some black jeans with a cap and sunglasses on. The others started whistling hyping him off, I started scoffing. 'Took him long enough.' "Cat got your tongue" Marshall winked at me and chuckled. I rolled my eyes at him. "Your not that handsome you know" I retorted. "So you admit i'm handsome," he smirked. "No"

"Jealous much"

"As if"

"You could not even get a girlfriend from the looks of it"

"Like I care!" I shouted back. Just in time the van arrived.

Arriving at the venue, I noticed the stage were all decorated by lights and there was a big screen in the middle since it's still early and the concert starts at 7 pm. There were no fans yet entering. All of them were still outside in the ticket booth. Overall the place has a 1,000 seat capacity and all the tickets sold out. They're all well known, damn it. The members started practising for two rounds. After that they all rested for awhile and at 6 o'clock came we were all in the 'dressing room' Finn told me, getting dressed and eating dinner. I also joined them and after that we all waited for the show to start.

I was told to watch backstage and to overlook the performance and the technicalities. I barely even know technology but Marshall insisted for me to be incharge, nonetheless I'm getting paid so business is business.

Before I knew it The podium lights were suddenly off signalling for the start of the show. The screen started showing a countdown.

The music started playing from those enormous speakers. The boys entered and started dancing. The crowd got excited and they were all hype. I noticed that some were even shouting and waving their banners. What a sight! The members started singing and the beat of the stage started getting louder and you could feel the stage shake a little bit. The crowd went wild. After singing for 2 songs they decided to take a break. The members seated on the chair and started talking. They were all rambling about the helicopter trip we all did yesterday and even answered some fans' questions. Most of them were controversial but nonetheless the boys answered it really well. As the break ended they continued singing and even I too swayed around and dance to the beat of the song backstage. It felt like chaos and fun at the same time. Before I knew it the last song came and fans were feeling melancholic I notice some even cried. The dedication and passion the boys have felt unreal. I enjoyed it a lot.
