𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓: 828

"𝐒𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐌𝐄 get this straight, Violet, randomly just woke up in this universe-you guys randomly just meet her, and that's when everything started going down south?" Jack stated slowly. We were all sitting down while he paced around. This was the most awkward thing to me yet.

"Yes...I know, just take a moment to calm down you dork."Fielda replies. Jack glared at her. "I'll deal with your shenanigans later Fielda, but anyways- yes I'll help. But 𝘩𝘰𝘸 exactly are we going to find out whether it's Regina or not? It could be a new force of evil or something!" Jack complains and Fielda rolls her eyes. "This is not Harry Potter, Jack. We actually know it's Regina, but I can tell you one thing- we don't have a plan. A 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯. We need to come up with one." She barks at Jack. He starts muttering something about Fielda being insufferable and annoying. Me and Annie start giggling, 𝘨𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 like little kids. Jack looked up to see us still laughing.

"S-sorry, we'll stop" I plead while still giggling slightly. Jack gave me a small smile and my heart raced. What the hell was going on with me? I shook the thought off and caught Annie and Fielda smirking at me. I gave them a "this is your guys fault" look, as we all tried to come up with a plan. Then suddenly Jack stopped in his tracks. His head shot up. We all looked up with confused looks on our faces. "What is it?" I blurted out, Annie and Fielda shot a glance at me before turned their heads back to Jack, "I think I know someone...I don't know if they're still around or not, but we can see if they are." He announces. Annie stood up.

"Well? We might wanna bring supplies with us, this is not some walk-in-the-park type thing," she barks. We all got up immediately before scrambling around Jack's cabin. I recall a good lunch I had when I was a kid. Deviled sausage. Luckily Jack had a stove that actually functioned. I cut it on and found sausages in his fridge.

                                                                                          *  *  *

After what felt like forever, the sausages were done. I packed them up in a small container and placed them in a bag. I tied it up before I heard a familiar voice. "Hey," I jumped because Jack jumpscared me. He laughed as I glared at him. "It's not funny, sir" I bark at him. "I'm sorry, it's not my fault. Anyways, what were you cooking up in here?" He asks me. I huffed at him before replying. "Deviled sausages" I stated. I grab the bag and turned to him. He WAS short. I snorted, and Jack raised an eyebrow. "What's funny dear?" He asks me. I could feel my face turn red. "Your shorter than me, THAT's funny." I answer him boldly. Suddenly he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer. I yelped. "You're cute when you're confused." He uttered. Suddenly a room door opened and Jack let go of me. "Are we all done being flirtatious with each other?" Fielda teases. I snorted as I grabbed my bag and walked out with Fielda, then Annie, and lastly- Jack, who locked the door behind him.

Fielda got a head start and Annie was quick to catch up to me.  "So how do you like it here so far?" She asks me. I shrugged, "It's better than my universe, that's for sure."I answer blankly. She nodded her head in amusement. "Interesting...do you like Jack?" she teases and flashed me a smirk. I rolled my eyes as she runs up to catch up with Fielda. I laugh at Annie's stupid question. Then I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, I turn to see Jack smiling at me. I flashed him a grin.

"I see you've taking a great attachment to me." I state, amused . He just laughs. "Maybe I did," he replies boldly. I place an arm around him. "Do you think we can actually beat whatever this is?" I ask him with a sudden sick feeling. "I'm sure we can. We're not stupid, unless you're Fielda" Jack announces the last part loudly. Fielda turns her head and raises an eyebrow. "You say I'm stupid? Well at least I'm not short." Fielda barks at him. We all laugh at her snarky remark. It was really funny. At some point we stopped in a town filled with people, some girls attempted to flirt with Jack, I couldn't blame them- he's quite the attraction. Everything was good.

Until when I felt a certain feeling, a feeling- that someone, or something, was watching us.

And it wasn't far either.
