I'll admit it, i'm kind of excited to see Michael. It's nice to know that he doesn't hate my guts anymore.
From a distance, i could hear the groups obnoxiously loud laughter, and i couldn't help but wonder what they were laughing about.
"Hey, what're you guys laughing about?" I asked, walking up to them.
"Hey! Y/n! I've got a joke for you!" Raiden laughed.
"Hit me." I spoke, wondering what was so funny.
"If a quiz is quizzical, then what's a test?" Raiden asked, laughing more after he told me the joke.
I thought for a minute. If a quiz is quizzical, what's a test?
"Testical." I stated.
Raiden laughed even harder, so did the rest of the group.
Oh.
"you guys are so immature." I said, laughing along with them.
Michael walked up to us, and i smiled at him, only for him to frown at me.
"You again." He said to me.
"I thought we were friends now?" I spoke, raising an eyebrow.
"Well you thought wrong. I still don't like you." Michael told me.
"Oh come on! I thought we were good! Do you at least have a reason for disliking me?" I asked him.
"...No."
"Exactly! Stop disliking people just to dislike them and grow up." I sneered, rolling my eyes.
"It's too early for this, you two need to suck it up." Jeremy complained.
"I need to suck it up? Tell Michael to suck it up! I never had anything against him!" I defended.
"Just give the poor girl a chance, Mike." Mark nonchalantly said.
"Why?" Michael asked, crossing his arms.
"Cause, she's part of our friend group." Mark told him.
"I'll think about it." He muttered, sighing.
Damn. Guess i spoke too soon. If he hates me, i hate him. It's petty, but i'm not gonna try to be friends with someone who loathes me.
Just then, we heard the bell that told us to get to class.
"Time for class, Mike." Jeremy told him, patting his shoulder.
"I'm not going." Michael said, leaning on the wall.
"Skipping again Michael? Really?" Danielle asked, scoffing.
"Yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" He asked.
Danielle didn't respond.
"Don't you have a class to go to?" Michael asked, raising an eyebrow and looking Danielle up and down.
"Yeah, actually. Come on, Y/n." Danielle replied, grabbing my wrist to take me to class with her.
