I walk back in to find Suna.

"Are you the boss?" I ask him once I find him.

He grabs me and leads me to one of the rooms in the house.
I protested all the way there but he still managed to get me away from the crowd.

"What are you talking about?" He plays dumb.

"Are you the fucking leader of whatever weird gang cult mafia fam you got going on?"

"I suppose so yeah." He admits.

"Shouldn't I have had the right to know about all this before sleeping with you?"

"I don't usually let my bitches know about this part of my life. You shouldn't feel betrayed, you should feel lucky." He tells me.

"Lucky?! How am I to feel lucky when you're going around doing dangerous shit and ruining people's lives? Good people's lives often."

"I'm just doing my job. Now how about you stop overreacting and just go to sleep. You've had too much to drink, it's about time you end the day." He explains.

"No!" I raise my voice. He clenches his jaw upon that. I feel the fear creeping up at the back of neck, but I don't let it consume me. "And your job? To hell with that shit, you're a minor, you're not even out of high school. You should be working for a decent job not leading a drug business at the tender age of 17!"

"I didn't have much of a choice! Now shut your dirty mouth the fuck up, drink some water and come lay here with me." He commands.

I calm down slightly and my tone lowers. "What do you mean you didn't have a choice?" My expression now shows concern.

He sighs and leaves me with no answer.

"Come here." He kisses my forehead and strokes my hair. "It'll be fine, don't worry about me." He says as he takes my clothes off and puts a baggy t-shirt over my body.

He then carries me to bed, where he tucks me in and cuddles me to sleep.

I fall asleep fast because I am so tired from this long night. All the alcohol, the drugs, the sex and the fighting, it all gets me exhausted.

~

I wake up still wrapped up in his arms. This is the first time it happens. I want to lay here and enjoy this moment.

And I hate me so much because I have to get up and find the toilet as fast as I possibly can so that my stomach can get back at me for all that I ingested last night.

I throw up vigorously for a while.

"I see you're having some trouble there." Suna pats my head and holds my hair back. "Drink this." He says and hands me a bottle of water.

"Thanks" I mutter.

I decide to go back to bed once I feel stable enough.

Suna sits with me, making sure I'm alright.

"You never answered me yesterday." I state. "How come you were forced into this business and how did you become the leader?"

"I think there'll be a better time to discuss this. Focus on getting better, I'll check up on the others." He says leaving, dodging again.

Once he comes back into the room with some weird smoothie that helps with any hungover and lays beside me with his head on my lap.

"How did you become leader of this gang thing?" I question as I stroke his hair.

"It's a depressing story I don't want to burden you with it."

"Just tell me, it's better, you'll feel better." I insist. "I don't mind depressing, our whole lives are a Great Depression."

"Alright." He agrees. "My father built this gang. He gathered his closest friends and started his business with weed. Of course with help and time his business flourished and they sold more than just weed. The profit was great, the gang was united and they all trusted each other with their own lives."

"Usual gang shit right?"

"Yeah, usual gang shit." He smiles. "They grew, they started families, but never stopped the business and the gang activities. It was enough for all of them not to have a job. But with this power and success, there are risks. My father got beaten to death by one of his own."

"Fuck." I say showing some sympathy.

"The man went crazy with the money and the drugs. He was a good man tho, my father knew so. They were close friends, just like everyone in the gang, my old man refused to fight back and it got him killed." Suna explains. "I honestly think that's a good moral to die over. We shouldn't turn against those who mean a lot to us, no matter the circumstances."

"I'm never doing drugs again." I say still in a bit of shock.

Despite his sad story he chuckles at my comment. "After his death I was the one to lead. I'm doing a good job and I don't mind it. Although I do remember my father saying I'd never lose him, that he'd never abandon me like his father did to him, that he did all this for me. Yet in the end I lost him because of it. I guess he meant it but it was out of his control."

I hum to let him now he was heard and we fall into a comfortable silence.

He starts speaking again after the prolonged pause. "Last night, you told me you are not mine, but you don't really believe that do you?"

I sigh. "I'm yours just as long as you're mine."

His lips curl up in a smile. "That's good enough for me."

After that the silence returns.
We let all the emotions sink in as we embrace.
