arthur grabbed her hand as he wanted to get her out of the place. her breathing didn't seem to slow down.
he pulled her out and waved down the Concierge asking him to get the car he and charles came in, meanwhile arthur turned to Natalia "It's all fine, nobody can hurt you, just focus on your breathing alright?" she nodded and focused on his eyes.
"Nobody can hurt me" she whispered as he turned away tipping the concierge who found the car and drove it in front of him.
Arthur opened the Passenger side for natalia, and as he walked over to his side she opened it from the inside.
his smile grew and he started driving
"where we going?" "you'll see" he really hoped his mom wasn't home, he really really hoped.
the ferrari pulled up to the parking lot, natalia stepped out and Arthur did the same "your house?" "yeah ehm sorry no where better to go, we can go in my garden we have a beautiful garden" he stumbled over his words as he opened the door and she immediately took
off her heels as she saw the marble floor.she carried her heels as he said "so this is the kitchen, uh, the living room and entrance to the garden." she smiled as she listened "Then uh- how about i get some blankets, and if u want u can prepare some
snacks for us, how about that?" "Sure! of course!"
she smiled and walked back to the entrance where she sat her ysl heels down.she walked to the kitchen and then it was go time.
when arthur walked down the stairs he expected some
gummy worms in a bowl, not a charcuterie board with cheese and grapes, he smiled and told her "come
on" the both walked outside, a small fireplace with an hollywood swing infront of it. the both sat down; she placed the Board on the Extended part of the fireplace.he placed the blanket over them
and lays Pillows behind them."so, what i'd miss?" she asked as she took some cheese and grapes, the fireplace making a relaxing sound
"not much, got my heart broken a couple of times and winning formula 3" "damn" she said and he asked „and what did i miss?" „well not exactly little, I moved to russia obviously, Started ice skating again and became a national sensation, ending up with me well.. back here." the air was not thick at all between them, and arthur hesitated to ask. "May i ask? why did everybody think you were dead..." it was silent for a second.
"i didn't know that everyone thought that." she whispered and his eyebrows furrowed. "What do you mean? it was all over the news." "I had a failed attempt. you know? hard time and all. After that mom stopped all international affairs and i had to stay in russia. i mean i was dead for 5 minutes no more." now the air was thick. "Why would they say you're dead then?" "Maybe pressure off the surname, maybe my mother didn't really want me to go as far in life as i actually thought she wanted me to." "hmm."
it was silent for a while when Natalia stood up holding out her hand for the boy who accepted it "where are you going?" she fixed his collar and smiled "I decided that we will be going clubbing" "huh?" "It's too depressing just talking now, i want to get drunk. And i'm going to show you, what russian clubbing is like. even though you will only get the real experience in russia, but i guess... a russian club here will do the trick." she typed around on her phone bringing it up to her ear.
he swore he could melt when he heard her talk russian, she talked so effortlessly "Hey Irina, can you get me and a friend into your club?" she heard irina laugh and say "Of course, always for you little one, but does your friend look good at least?" in russian, Natalia looked at Arthur from head to toe and smirked, causing his eyebrows to rise "Yeah he does." "He? well then, come on." "thank you love" And with that the call ended and Natalia pointed her chin to the door.
"What did you observe me for?" Natalia was straight to the point "she asked if you look good and i said yes. simple" he wasn't used to the straight forwardness... he expected her to be kind of.. shy?
Natalia turned around causing him to stop "You have to let me drive though." "Drive? My car?" "If you don't want to walk after well yeah." "How about we take a cab hm? if we're going to drink after all." her frown turned to a smirk and she tapped the side of his head "I like you already! smart!" and with that arthur called a cab.
the both got into the cab and Natalia simply gave the man the address and he started driving. she turned to arthur after that.
"so while we're going, i have to set a few rules straight." he looked at her confused and she started speaking "Any girls coming up to you, go for it if you want to but i wouldn't risk it, most likely slavic rich girls here on a holiday looking to spill your secrets to the next best Gossip magazine. uhhh- Don't try to smart talk the barkeeper, he knows what he's doing and he doesn't take it likely, try to speak english with him, french isn't his strong suit. and since you can't speak russian- well.. and tonight i suppose you can let loose. Irina doesn't let anyone in the club without a thorough background check if they even seem remotely like paparazzi. Can't have a rich russian dad suing her because the media found out he's cheating on his wife in there do we?" "but why do i have to look out for the women in there then-" "Honey, There is a difference between young girls trying to woo you and then spilling all your secrets and old men who don't want their respect tarnished. you have to understand that their fathers don't care what their daughters do, they know that they are smart enough to clean up after themselves. it's not like they were raised anyway else. look out for the really expensive looking ladies, i'll tell you if i know any of them. oh i love going to these types of things" she excitedly said and he laughed, her eyes sparkled. or maybe it was the alcohol in him.
"why?" "To put it simple, i know many people. i know them even if they think i don't know them, i know the dirt on them they thought no one would ever know. but i have eyes and ears everywhere, and i just love to know their dirty little secrets because then they have respect. they have respect for me and for my family. and don't just go around running their mouth" it was silent for a second.
"wow." "I'm sorry you may not understand it sounds very narcissistic... look, i'm a figure skater, and in russia especially it's important to know your opponents, what they eat, what they do in their day to day life, what they look like in their weakest moments, to know who they surround themselves with and how you can break them. it's something i noticed very quickly when being nice hadn't worked and was only used against me. so i had to get my own strategy to know them. which has become very successful" "did you use that on me?" "huh?" she was shocked he would accuse her of that.
"I don't use it on people i know wouldn't betray me, as if! I still have some class, just sometimes you have to be a bit of a bitch to succeed in life" she laughed and he smiled.
the car came to a halt and Natalia paid the driver before arthur could and dragged him by his hand out of the cab. her hands were cold, his were warm.
she saw there was a small line in front of the Club and sneaked to the front. the bouncer smirked slightly as he recognized her, starting to speak in russian "Natalia? lyubov maja, What are you doing here?" "Have to show my friend how we actually party" she winked at the bouncer and he turned to arthur, speaking in a very broken english. "I wish you good luck if you ever manage to go to russia with her." he was confused by that.
and with that the two were let in. her hand still grasping his, to make sure they didn't get lost. she stood at the entrance and her eyes graced the club. "fucking hell" she muttered and the boy asked "hmm?" "Never thought i'd see so many ugly faces in one spot" "damn" he laughed, he didn't expect that. but his eyes graced the club and he couldn't lay eyes on one ugly person, they all looked unbelievably stunning "it's their soul and attitude Arthur, not their face that's ugly." he made an oh sound and natalia dragged him to the bar, he recognised "day n nite" by kid kudi playing. wasn't this supposed to be a russian club
„Natalia Bianchi! what a pleasure." oh not that bitch.
