IT'S BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE THEIR FIRST CHALLENGE, AND THE BASS TEAM ALL BECAME RATHER CLOSE WITH EACH OTHER. The girls all considered each other as sisters. Well, Courtney, Bridgette, and Piper did. Sadie and Kadie were close with the others, but would often times prefer to be with each other. Eva was nice to an extent, but she did value her personal time to which everyone had respected. So the three girls usually stuck with each other. They had all gotten to know the boys pretty well. With Ezekiel gone, there was no tension at all between the two genders.
Piper was close with DJ and Geoff, of course. After all, Geoff tried to calm her down and stuck up for her a lot. DJ was the most sweetest and wholesome boy she's ever met. Her and Harold weren't exactly the best of friends, but the girl does defend him when the boys take their teasing a little too far.
Despite Tyler being way too much of a jock and not having much brains, he did have some brawn which Piper could appreciate. He would often join the twins whenever they did some sort of athletic activities—even Eva would join.
So far, Piper is the only one who can reign Duncan in because even she knows when to draw the line. They have an interesting relationship as they constantly bicker rather flirtatiously. The team all suspect that something's there, but the two would always deny it.
Currently, everyone was sleeping. That is, until, they were all woken up by the sound of an air horn.
"Gah!"
Piper fell from her bed before scrambling up to her feet. She instantly put her feet together, straightened her back, and put her hands behind her back. Then the girl realized that she was no longer at boot camp, but in the competition.
"Uh, Pipe?" Bridgette asked, stifling back a laugh. "Whatcha doing?"
Piper blushed. "I've gotten used to standing in the perfect military stance whenever I hear an air horn. No doubt, this was Chef's idea."
The girls laughed before they all began to get ready.
Same thing had happened over at the boy's cabin on the Gopher's team. The guys laughed as they questioned Seth, who blushed and stammered out a response before getting ready for the day.
Everyone then met up outside and waited for Chris to give them instructions.
"Morning." Chris smirked. "Hope you all slept well."
"Hi Chris. You look really buff in those shorts." Heather flirted.
Piper and Bridgette rolled their eyes at Heather being a kiss ass to Chris. Seth then approached his sister and threw his arm lazily over her shoulders.
