L's Point Of View
It's been seven days since I've ordered my partner to monitor Kiyotaka. He's stayed almost completely quiet the entire week, barely reporting in anything significant.
I'm used to it at this point... this is how he works, after all... a double crosser who plays both sides, cannot be trusted at all... at worst, Kiyotaka is Kira and my "partner" has made a deal with him to work with him... and at best, Kiyotaka isn't Kira and my "partner" hasn't found anything important about Kiyotaka's schedule yet...
Despite my paranoia, I knew that he hasn't betrayed me yet. This is because the person who actually possesses the name "Ryuzaki" hasn't died yet. Even with this reassurance, I can't be too sure. Kira might be constructing events to make my death appear as natural, instead of by Kira.
What I've been able to realize is that Kira needs their targets name to kill them, making my habit of hiding true identity and name my biggest strength for this case.
Although I'm trying to humanize Kira... there's still a lingering thought deep inside of me... warning me that whatever power he's using... might be supernatural...
I calmed myself down. There was no point in overthinking it, after all. This is exactly what Kira wants, and I can't allow that.
To calm myself down, I opened up a package of freshly ordered macaroons, taking a bite into the pink one.
Hmm, strawberry...
I decided to distract myself by reading reports of Kira's victims. This case has taken a toll on me, I have to admit. Even tho I know my priorities, Kira's unorthodox way of killing is annoying. Whenever a person in high power dies due to "suicide" or an "accident", I'm forced to find any evidence of them either dying naturally or to Kira, to make sure it's not just a coincidence.
Some of them could've been mentally unstable... enough to end their lives on their own terms... but most of them were mentally stable people... well If you don't count the awful things they did without feeling any guilt...
While reading the reports, I called my partner. He picked up a few seconds later.
L: I've given you exactly one week to report in. You better not waste my time today.
???: [ I'm sorry, I'm sorry. The target just hasn't been that active, honestly. I've only seen him outside 3 times throughout this week. Not including going to school or leaving it. ]
L: I'll take what I can get. Tell me everything.
???: [ Sure. ]

Kiyotaka's Point Of View
It's been seven days since I've spotted the stalkers. During these days, I've been able to confirm two of the main men behind this operation.
One seems to be a man in his forties. He's the more competent one out of the two. The second one seems to be a man in his late twenties. From what I can tell, he looks foreign.
L must've gotten the FBI involved in this...but what I need to know is... who is the older man...? I haven't been able to confirm much of his facial details but he looks Japanese, so far... unlike the second man who's clearly a foreigner... maybe he's been hired by L...
