Vada POV
I woke up drenched in a cold sweat, my hands were shaking, my breathing fast and shallow, tears poaring out of my eyes, my heart pounding out of my chest, i felt the sudden urge to throw up. " John" i yelled... no response, "John B" yet again no response, "Please someone help" finally i heard loud footsteps crashing towards my room.
JJ POV
My heart wrenched at the site of my cupcake huddled in a little ball on the floor near her bed. I immediately approached her, "Hey cupcake whats wrong?" i asked even though I knew the answer I needed her to focus on something else. "M-my, i-i-i, i can-nt bre-the p-please help".
Her breathing was fast and staggered, I pulled her into my chest (Still on the floor) "hey, hey, hey, look at me ( i softly raised her chin to look up at me), Can you hear my heart ( She softly nodded, tears still cascading down her face) I want you to focus on my heart, and match my breathing okay? "(Again she nodded).
I cant help but to think what a shit brother John B really is. I get it Big John was his dad and was closer with him but john b never did stop and think what his sister was going through as well. Vada built up these walls that no one could get past, in some way she reminds me of myself.
She is numb, she feels nothing but anger. If i think about it I have only seen her cry one other time, that was when she found out her mother was sick.
No Ones POV
John B and Vada used to be close as when they were little. Then one day Vadas mom came and whisked her away back to Australia. It was no shoker to Vada that when she came back John B was mad at her.
The one thing no one knew was what happened to vada in Australia and why she moved back so suddenly. But unlucky for her the truth always finds a way out.
