I soared through the sprawling cityscape, my heart pounding with a mix of exhilaration and worry. It had only been a week since I had vanquished the menacing Iguana, a notorious villain who had plagued our city for far too long. But now, a new name echoed through the streets—Dr. Otto. The mere mention of him sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't ignore the urgency in the rumors circulating among the oscorp and hydra.
Today was no ordinary day. It marked my younger sister's birthday, a day that held immense significance for our family. I had planned to make it a magical celebration, a memory she would cherish forever. But duty called, and I couldn't let personal desires overshadow the safety of those I cherished. You see, my sister's fiancé, Patricia Parker, held a position of authority as the chief of police. Wherever danger lurked, Patricia fearlessly stepped forward to protect our city. And as her soon to be sister in law, it fell upon me, the protector of our city, to ensure her safety.
But Patricia was more than just my sister's fiancé; she was my best friend, my confidante. We had weathered storms together, supporting each other through every trial and triumph. The thought of losing her was unbearable, and it fueled my determination to fulfill my duties as the city's protector.
Over the past two years, I had done well to keep everyone I care about safe. That wasn't ever going to change.
The city hummed with life beneath me, blissfully unaware of the impending danger Dr. Otto posed. But I was prepared to face him head-on, to safeguard not only Patricia but also every innocent life in his path. With each powerful surge of momentum, I felt a surge of determination, my commitment to protecting our city burning like a fierce flame within my heart.
Hovering near Oscorp, my heart pounded with a mix of anticipation and concern. The aftermath of Dr. Octopus's destructive rampage sprawled before me, a stark reminder of the chaos that had unfolded. The reasons behind his descent into madness remained a mystery to me, but in this moment, my focus was solely on the safety of Patricia, my best friend.
With bated breath, I watched, my eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. Patricia, driven by an unwavering commitment to protect our city, stood fearlessly amidst the remnants of chaos. Her determination was both awe-inspiring and heart-wrenching. She possessed an unyielding spirit, one that refused to be swayed by the forces of darkness.
Suddenly, a flicker of movement caught my attention. My heart skipped a beat as Dr. Octopus emerged from the shadows, his mechanical appendages writhing with sinister intent. Danger loomed, threatening to engulf Patricia in its clutches.
Without hesitation, I propelled myself into action, my movements swift and purposeful. The wind rushed past me as I swooped down, a blur of determination and unwavering commitment. With each graceful maneuver, I closed the distance between Patricia and myself, ready to shield her from the impending peril.
With Patricia in my arms, I swung through the air, narrowly evading the menacing reach of Dr. Octopus's tentacles. The rush of adrenaline pulsed through my veins as I released a breath I hadn't even realized I was holding. Relief washed over me, but my focus shifted to Patricia, who wore a mysterious smile on her face.
"What is it?" I asked, oblivious to the reason behind her sudden grin. Her response was interrupted by an unexpected impact that sent Patricia flying from my grasp. I barely had time to process what was happening. It wasn't Dr. Octopus who attacked her— he was too far away. Desperation surged through me as I chased after Patricia, the realization sinking in that if I didn't catch her before she hit the ground, it could be disastrous.
Leaping through the air, I descended rapidly, reaching out for Patricia with every ounce of my being. But before I could reach her, a pair of powerful arms seized me, pinning me against the nearby building. Panic coursed through me as I struggled against the unyielding force that held me captive. I screamed and kicked, desperately trying to break free, my only thought fixated on reaching Patricia before it was too late.
"Get off me!" I growled. The man restraining me had donned the unmistakable attire of Spiderman, but there was something different about him. His suit was a striking combination of blue and red, and his presence felt larger than life, his shoulders broad and imposing.
Caught in his unyielding grip, I could feel the power emanating from him, matching the force of his hold. Confusion mixed with frustration as I tried to comprehend why another Spiderman was interfering, especially at such a critical moment.
My throat felt dry, and a sinking feeling settled in the pit of my stomach as I heard the unmistakable thud. I didn't want to look down; deep down, I already knew who or what had hit the ground. The weight of the situation crushed me, and I felt myself go limp in the arms of the mysterious Spiderman.
"Spiderman from Wish," I forced the words out, my voice filled with a mix of anger and despair. The enigmatic figure before me stared back, their identity concealed beneath the mask. I didn't want to know who they were; all I knew was that they had betrayed us. "Let. me. go," I demanded, my voice laced with an undeniable fury.
Their gaze shifted, their eyes landing on the lifeless body of Patricia. A surge of rage coursed through me, consuming every fiber of my being. How could this false Spiderman, this Phantom Spiderman, have allowed Patricia to die?
Before the imposter could make a move, I broke free from their grip, a wave of determination propelling me forward. Without hesitation, I chased after them, fueled by an overwhelming desire for retribution. In a fit of rage, I unleashed a powerful kick, connecting with their jaw.
I didn't care how or where this new spiderman came from, just that he didn't belong here, and he deserved to be the one laying where Patricia now laid.
As the false Spiderman stumbled backward, a mixture of surprise and realization danced across their face. It became clear that they were not the hero they pretended to be; instead, they were a villain.
"Mark my words" I croaked. "I will tear this city down brick by brick to find you and get my revenge." but there were more pressing matters than to kill a spiderman with a fat ass.
With those words hanging in the air, I turned away from the false Spiderman, the embodiment of betrayal, and redirected my focus toward Dr. Otto. He loomed dangerously close to my home, threatening the very foundation of my family's safety. I couldn't bear the thought of losing anyone else I held dear.
Fuelled by grief and unwavering determination, I pushed forward. Every step carried the weight of my sorrow, propelling me towards Dr. Otto with a fierce resolve. The memory of Patricia's smile, the echoes of her laughter, fueled my determination to protect those I loved. No one would hurt my family again. And Mr. Phantom spiderman better be prepared for what's to come to him.
