Lumina, the Princess of Thunderkeep and the Thunderborn legion, stood tall and regal as she awaited the arrival of Aervos, the man bearing the cloak of the crimson blade. The weight of her responsibilities as heir to her mother's legion rested upon her shoulders, and she felt the anticipation building within her.
As Aervos entered the throne room, he knelt before Lumina, acknowledging her authority. Lumina's younger sister, Lynn, stood by her side, both family and trusted advisor. Lumina's gaze met Aervos's as she listened to his proposal. His words intrigued her, piquing her curiosity about the fair deal he spoke of.
"You know me, dear Lumina," Aervos began, his voice filled with a sense of familiarity. "I have come to aid you in your war, but for a fair deal." Lumina pondered his words, trying to discern his intentions and the nature of the deal he had in mind.
Lumina's eyes narrowed slightly as she replied, "Oh? And what might you have in mind, Aervos?" Her tone was measured, a mix of caution and curiosity, as she prepared herself to weigh the potential benefits and risks that lay behind his proposition.
Aervos stands up tall and mighty. As Aervos approaches Lumina, his cloak billows and sways with each step, the fabric dancing in the air as if stirred by an unseen breeze. The motion adds an air of mystique and intrigue to his presence, accentuating his arrival with a touch of dramatic flair. The fabric's movement creates an aura of anticipation, signaling that something significant is about to unfold in their meeting. Lumina's eyes track the rhythmic sway of the cloak, watching as Aervos draws nearer, his every movement captivating her attention.
"Lumina," he begins, with his hand slowly moving forward towards her hand. Lumina blushes as he voices his thoughts, "Lumina, how about I take you on a date." The whole crowd behind Aervos laughs and murmurs, "What a fool! How is he going to please the queen?" Aervos quickly silences them.
Lumina agrees to this, but soon after the agreement, a horn blares out with a screeching call, the sound that only means war. Aervos swiftly pivots towards the window, a blur of motion, and streaks out with awe-inspiring celerity, riding the magnificent arc of the scintillating vermilion lightning that crackles and dances with an otherworldly brilliance.
Lumina musters up all the troops she could to guard the wall. "By order of your queen, I think I know what you all must do: defend your homeland with all your strength against the Rikariens. They think they can take us down with their weapons and strength. We will hit them hard with all we've got!"
Lumina gracefully approaches her awaiting gear, her gaze fixed upon the scythe's glimmer. With a deft hand, she clasps the scythe's handle, and an instant connection is forged. The scythe seamlessly melds with her touch, as if it were an extension of her very being. Uttering the scythe's name, Lumina intones a potent incantation, infusing it with her enchanting power: "Celestial inferno, ablaze with might! Lightning's fury, ignite the night!" Lynn felt sick to her stomach, her insides churning with discomfort and unease. The room's oppressive atmosphere seemed to weigh heavily on her, leaving her desperate for an escape. With a heavy heart, she excused herself and hastily made her way out, yearning for solace and respite. She sought refuge in a quiet space where she could lay down, hoping that the simple act of resting would ease the turmoil within her. As Aervos looks to his right, his heart skips a beat, for standing before him is his long-lost brother, someone he thought he would never see again. The reunion is bittersweet, yet there is an undeniable tension in the air. Aervos's voice quivers as he asks in a hushed tone, "Brother? Is that really you?"
But just as the question lingers in the stillness, a deafening roar shatters the tranquility. The ground trembles beneath their feet, sending tremors of fear through their bodies. Chaos unfolds around them, engulfing the scene in a whirlwind of danger and uncertainty.
The sudden eruption of a formidable enemy, far more powerful than anything they have faced before, disrupts their long-awaited reunion. Shadows loom in the distance, and a sense of impending doom hangs in the air. The brothers are thrust into an unexpected battle for survival, forced to put their reunion on hold and confront a threat that could change the course of their lives forever.
