Something in her chest broke that night, she was surprised no one heard it.

𝑨𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒆•

I was sitting by my window my phone was blowing up with messages from Liam and some of his family members I knew Ares would find out but I didn't think he cared enough to show up but guess I was wrong and it's now my fault. I heard a knock on my door before it opened I didn't look back but instead I kept my focus out my window, the footsteps stopped behind me before I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder.

"Move your hand," I muttered.

"We need to talk" I rolled my eyes turning to face my brother who stood behind me.

"What about Élliot?" He sighed.

"I think you know Fleur" I scoff when he used my childhood nickname.

"Why are you here Élliot, I know for a fact I did not call you" I turned my body back towards the window.

"Ares did" I rolled my eyes turning to my brother

"Well you can tell him to fuck off, and you can leave too" Élliot grabbed my hand.

"Ri, this could have been bad you understand that right.." I snatched my hand from his grip.

"Get out," I said calmly he shook his head.

"No, Adrienne" I grabbed the closest thing to me which happened to be my phone, and threw it at him.

"Jesus Adrienne" He yelled as he picked it up his eyes scanning across it, I regretted throwing it at him he looked up at me his eyes softened.

"Adrienne, what is this?" I scoffed

"Ask Ares, what he did is somehow my fault " I glared at him

"Adrienne, if a photo of you and Liam got into the hands of the wrong people it would be bad, not just for you but for everyone me included!" He explained to me his eyes held uncertainty.

"We don't want a replay Ri." How dear he brings her up.

"I did nothing to you," I yelled

Marco walked into the room his eyes set on Élliot I glared at Êlliot before I turned to Marco.

"Get him out of here!"

"Adri-" Élliot spoke

"Get him out of here, I swear to god!" I screamed

I watched as Marco took him out of the room I slammed the door behind them locking it in the process, with a shaky hand I picked up my phone and proceeded to call Claudia.

𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒔•

I heard Adrienne and Élliot yelling from my office as Marco was seated in front of me.

"I did nothing to you!" Adrienne yelled my head looked up towards Marco who stood up and exited the room not long after returning with Élliot.

"What did you do" I demanded looking at Élliot.

"Nothing" He frowned Marco looked at me before speaking up already knowing I most probably heard.

"Must have been bad, I had to take him out of her room" He smirked "She was ready to kill him!"

"Élliot, what did you do."

"It wasn't just me!" He huffed "You and Liam are too, after what you did you've created a huge problem for Adrienne!"

"What are you talking about!" I questioned

"The messages, that's what I'm talking about!" He confessed.

"Messages?" I frowned

"The ones from Liam and his family, the ones that Adrienne said were your fault?" He asked confused looking at Marco

"Escort him out." I nodded towards Élliot.

Walking into Adrienne's room I called out her name no answer looking around the room and the bathroom like was on hearing her phone buzz I turned and picked it up my eyes scrolling along all the messages the bathroom door opened Adrienne gasped.

"Oh my god, get out!" She gripped her towel closer to her body

"What are these?" I asked, her eyes fell on her phone which was in my hand.

"That's my phone!" She reached forward making me lift my arm into the air out of her reach.

"Ares, give me my bloody phone."

"Adrienne, what are these," I asked referring to the messages.

"Well you read them haven't you, you clearly can see what they are." She huffed walking into her closet and closing the door.

"Were you even going to bring this up to anyone?" I asked placing her phone on her bed.

"Well I threw my phone at Élliot and his nosey ass read them." She walked out of the closet this time in shorts and an oversized band t-shirt.

"Now can you get out?" She asked walking over to her windows and closing them.

"I'll see you tomorrow Ares, just get out" she huffed

"Goodnight Adrienne." I heard her mutter goodnight before she turned off her light.

My mind went back to the messages one in particular.

I'll do anything to have you, Adrienne.

Okay, this was a short chapter, because the next chapter is the ✨wedding✨and if I'm honest I'm excited. Omg, every time I would type Ares I would almost every time write Area since I'm on my phone 😭. But is it only me who hates road trips I'm currently having a road trip and It's probably the only reason I'm writing anything 🤭.
