CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

"Mix the maroon with white, it'll make a beautiful colour." Ms. Sharon said, Juri did so and the results were beautiful.

"Thanks miss." She said with a smile.

"No problem dear."

Juri was busy testing out different colours that she could possibly use to paint as she had finished the drawing now.

"Ah, Dahlia how are you?" Ms. Sharon greeted with a bright smile.

Dahlia in turn gave her a soft one back, pushing back her hair.

"I'm good thank you, I just came to see who the one that is painting for Mr. Wayne is." She said as she glanced around.

"Oh yes, that would be Juri over there." She pointed before heading of to answer the call of a student.

Dahlia's eye twitched as she made her way towards Juri while still keeping a smile on her face.

"Hey Juri." She greeted as she pulled out a chair, brushing the back of her skirt forward before sitting down.

"Oh, what's up?" She asked flashing her a smile, pushing up her sleeve before it fell.

"Nothing much, I hear you're painting something for Mr. Wayne for his charity ball." She said putting her face in her palm.

Juri breathed out a chuckle.

"Yeah."

"That's a pretty big feat, once you get recognised by people you'll be able to sell your paintings!" She said.

"To be honest it doesn't even sound like to bad of an idea."

'She's pretty chill.'Juri thought.

"I love your lip combo, it suits you." She said.

"Oh, thanks girl, its a real keeper if you ask me."

She let out a laugh at this.

"Look at that! The two prettiest girls in our school!" She students whispered.

"Juri has the fierce looks, especially with her sass, and then Dahlia has the real soft and gentle ones."

"Yeah, I'll be surprised if they become friends."

"True, Dahlia is cousins with Veronica so she must know what happened."

"She does, and she's aware of it too, but she's still being friendly with her."

"Ah she's such an angel, always seeking the good in people."

"Who would you rather, Dick and Juri? Or Dahlia and Dick?"

"Duh obviously- oh, that's actually a good question."

"I like Dick and Juri, but him and Dahlia were like highschool sweet hearts."

"I'm going to have to say Dick and Juri, they just click you know?"

"I agree-"

"Juri!" Dick's cheerful voice cut off the gossiping students.

He came strolling in with a big smile, a burrito in his hand, his hair was slightly a mess as he walked leisurely towards her.

Dick disappeared as he had to stop a robbery at the national bank which took quite a while but he got the job done with the help of Batman.

He had to quickly change out of his suit and into his uniform, he already felt kind of bad because he heard that Juri was looking for him.

So he resorted to quickly stopping by her favourite takeaway and got her, her burrito.
