Crossing the divide

Chapter two

Raven's POV
After that class I helped her back to the line that divided our school. It was an odd little line but held much power. If pasta or supernatural crossed when they weren't supposed to it's said that we'll get shocked or something. She smiled at me and left to her physics class. I went to my class but the whole period my eyes were autumn since I was still angry at Jane. One of these days she will die. I swear she will. I thought stabbing my paper. It was torn to shreds by the end of school. I was walking home when I felt myself get picked up. I saw Lilly flying with me. I started to freak out.
"LILLY!!!!! Put me down now! Oh Zalgo I'm gonna die." I said. She giggled.
"No you won't. Cause I won't let that happen. There's your house." She replied putting me down safely on the ground. I went in laying down on the couch thinking about why she did that.

Lilly's POV
Raven seemed really mad but calmed down after I told her that I wouldn't dare drop her. I was pretty strong for my age. Especially since my sister's maid Sakuya told me I could stay with her and Flandre. They were nice to me but I always felt like I was going to school for nothing since Remilia only comes to keep an eye on me and when the days she has to study she sends Flandre which is not a pretty picture.
"Why am I always the one who is watched in this family?" I sighed flying into my bedroom window and closing it. I ran to my desk and pulled out my journal and wrote in it.

Journal entry 146(that's a lot)
I was injured once again, but am fine with it. It wasn't as serious as when I thought I'd bleed out. I'm happy I met a new friend even though she is a pasta. I don't care. I want to be her friend. I am happy to be a vampire but my sister makes me stay up in my room for a while when I get injured like this. She is sometimes unfair. I like someone. His name is Toby Rogers or Ticci Toby. I really want to be happy again, but Jane always injures me and says 'that's what you get for coming to our side freak'. So now I'm a freak with wings. I could cry but I won't. I'm stronger than this. Anyway school was great other than that incident. I wonder if I'll ever get to make a change to this schools policy about pasta and supernatural students being together. Hopefully it will happen one day that the divide will be lifted. I want that so much but they see us as freaks of nature and things that need to be hunted and killed. But I can feel that those three that helped me today are different. Oh Sakuya is calling me for dinner. I have to go.

I ran downstairs and ate after that I put my journal away and climbed in bed. I'd done all my homework in school so I didn't have any. I fell asleep at 12:30 am. I was just so tired from school that I had to say home until my wounds healed. Today was going to be boring.

Raven's POV
"Hey guys have you seen Lilly today. Her sister said she wasn't coming for a week. Was the wound that serious?" I asked.
Toby cleared his throat, "Well she is a vampire so she would need a couple days off of school but I agree that a week is a little much.", He replied agreeing with me. EJ nodded. Jane just snickered at us.
"Good riddance if you ask me. That little disgusting vamp was getting on my nerves." She said laughing. My eyes turned autumn again and I punched her in the gut. We were on the ground cutting and punching each other before anyone knew it. Slender came over separated us and gave us both detention me for fighting and her for saying such a comment about a fellow student. I was happy she was serving her sentence of 6 hours in that half of the school while I was only sentenced to an hour of detention. Which is kind of odd for a teacher to give two separate sentences for detention. But was happy when I got home. EJ and I had our study session. He leaned toward me to grab the soda behind me but still made me blush like a scarlet red. After that he went home and I went to bed, but fell asleep on the couch watching TV.
An entire week huh? That's what I call a spoiled brat. I wonder if it's cause she's being punished or something. Or if she's just healing her wound. It was deep but not that bad. I can hear her screams now. She must not be being punished cause it's only a week. Which is typical of the scarlet family. I thought before going to sleep.
