~ Chapter 1 ~

I don't wanna see and I don't wanna hear

The shadow of the arriving bat

Please don't release me when you see me falling

Into the moaning grounds of death

"What's taking him so long?" you asked as you were waiting for Chris outside the studio with the other members. You lifted your weight from one leg to the other in an impatient way.

"He usually takes a long time for everything, you know how he is" Pi replied as he leaned against the car and shuffled the keychain in his hand.

Then at the exact same moment your favourite blondie exited the huge building and walked towards you. You went to hug him which he gladly accepted with a big smile on his face.

"Finally, I thought you're never coming out" you said as you pulled away from him and stood beside him to look at the others.

"Sorry, just had to discuss some things with the manager. Can we go now? I'm starving" he said as he pushed you in the shoulder lightly and went over to the car. Everyone got in the car and Pi started driving.

"Where do ya wanna go, Harms?" Gared asked, who was sitting in the shotgun seat next to Pi. He turned on the radio and started switching between channels.

"I don't know, maybe McDonald's?" Chris said from beside you. You two were sitting in the back, in front of you were Niklas and Class, and in front of them in the front row sat Pi and Gared.

"But we went to McDonald's on tuesday also" replied Niklas as the car turned left.

"You should figure out what you want quickly because I'm soon near the middle of the city. I won't change directions so make up your minds now" Pi said.

"I vote KFC" you said. You got a glare from Class and Harms, you know they don't like KFC, but can they blame you if that's your favourite restaurant?

"Burger King" argued Niklas. You and Pi both sighed.

"Gared?" Pi asked, clearly tired of this bullshit.

"KFC. Best restaurant out there" the mentioned male replied and you victorically put your hands up.

"Finally someone!" You exclaimed and he turned around in his seat and shot you a toothy smile.

"So let me sum up. Two for KFC, one for Burger King and two for McDonald's?" asked Pi as he pulled up to a parking lot so you can figure what you want to eat out before going anywhere further.

"But what do you want, Pie?" asked Gared. Pi shot him a glare, then looked in the mirror at all of you. He sighed and started the car again.

"So?" Chris asked after a while of riding. Pi then pulled into the drive-thru of KFC. You and Gared both screamed in happiness and the others just huffed.

"Not fair" Chris said and crossed his arms in front of his chest. You looked at him sadly and patted his shoulder.

"Dont worry Lord, next time we'll go to McDee's, okay?" you said and he smiled lightly. Pi put his right hand up for everyone to shut up as it was your time to order.

You ordered a bucket of spicy chicken wings, Gared the same. Niklas and Class ordered fries together, Pi ordered both, and a hamburger, and Chris said he doesn't want to eat. You asked him like 3 times if he's sure he doesn't want anything, but he stood by his statement.

You were on the way home, everyone eating their food except Pi because he was driving. Gared kept vibing to random songs in the radio, Niklas and Class talked about how Till Lindemann can be so old yet act so young. You just sat in silence with Chris. You were eating your food and he was just looking out the window. You heard his stomach growl and looked over at him, just munching on your third chicken wing. He felt you staring at him so he turned in your direction.
