Forever the way we are

"Did you pack your sunscreen?" 
She rubbed her nose, a clear indication she hasn't.
 "Your sunglasses?"
She acted to look around in her backpack but Jimin knew she didn't. He sighed but it was funny to see her like that. "You lip balm?" He asked curiously yet knowing the answer would be in negative.
"i have brought a lunch box" She shamelessly smiled like it was one proud thing she did. "great" he remarked faking a smile. The fakest one ever.
"I know you got me covered so I don't need to worry so much, do I? Unless you haven't?" her forehead creased but turned creaseless when Jimin gave her a reassuring smile. 

This smile was real. It was a subtle but sweet feeling knowing that she depended on him. Perhaps even intentionally.

'I've got you covered' he talked to himself feeling proud like always. 

"How could you always forget the most important things to pack?" Kelly jumped in. "yeah, like your swimsuit" Jimin added. Angel looks down bashfully. "I swear I put it in my bag this morning." Angel scrunched her nose and for once looked remorse for being so dependable. 

"And you still forgot even after I gave you an entire list of things to pack" Jimin argued, his eyes were dramatically big.  

"I'm sorry. I mean you could've given me a second reminder?" She was so shameless for that. And she was smiling through it.  "Maybe I should've just woken you up and brushed your teeth and when you screwed your-"

He stopped after what he was about to say. He almost said it out loud how he would also give her a kiss after she screwed her lips. 

They both looked at each other knowing damn well what he meant. And it was visible. The blush on both their cheeks. 

Kelly and everyone else were looking at them with an amused look because of how they didn't even realize there were people around them.And maybe they were straight-up flirting. Who knew? Everything about how they acted with each other was a mystery to others. Were they dating or not?

 They were in their own little bubble. "wait, so you gave her a list of things to pack? What are you, her dad?" Kelly giggled knowing exactly what was brewing. "maybe daddyyyy? She slowly whispered, but of course everyone heard.

Their intense gaze broke and they were back to reality. "She forgets things" Jimin tried to cover up, ignoring her comment. "And so you make her lists?" 

"Wait, are those things real too?" Kelly murmured, not giggly this time. "w-what things?" Angel joined because Jimin was so red, it almost looked like he'd gotten a fever. 
"The waking up and brushing and what was the last part?" 

Angel hit her lightly on her pit. "Shut up, He was joking"  Kelly rolled her eyes but thankfully they went away without further interrogation. 

Finally, the peace was theirs as they were sitting on the last seat of the bus with no one besides them. They had two hours to be with each other's company until they reached to the amusement park. The field trip was gonna be one big day she noted. 

Jimin's fingers constantly moved until they found hers on the same place. His touched hers but he took them back before she noticed. "they were just being ridiculous" Angel interrupted his thoughts. "Do you mind though? That I gave you a list?" He was now looking in her direction and there was no amount of joke in them.

That was something Jimin probably did for as long as he can remember. Giving her a list of things to keep, sending her reminders, packing her bag for her. Well that lasted for only a short time when they were in kindergarten, but he did use to pack her bag almost every day when she'd forget keeping her pencils in her box or her notebooks. Mostly test papers. Now that he thinks of it, maybe she did it on purpose to leave her test papers out so that she would have an excuse to not show them to her parents. But Jimin always made sure he had her bag sealed with all the things they included before she lost them. Intentionally or not.
