Chapter Two (Shawn's Party)

Today was the day of Shawn's party! I was so excited!

Meh: So who's coming to Shawn's birthday party (which I planned)
Nash💞: Me, Taylor, Hayes, Cameron, Jacks, Matt & Carter are Idk about the others tho...
Sammy👌🏼: I AM!!
Meh: Okay calm down 😂🎀
Sammy👌🏼: Sorry 😑
Amy🙊: I'm coming with Penny☺️
Meh: Okay can you come early so you can help me with setting up?
Amy🙊: Yeah sure np! Sorry Penny we're leaving at 5 now...
Penny✌🏼️: Okay! 😒
Beth🐠: Meh!
Perry👑: I'll be going too!
Meh: Okay see you all there!💕
Matt💓: Don't be getting with anyone okay?
Meh: Don't worry 😂
Matt💓: Good girl ❤️

Amy and Penny came early to give me a hand to set up. Then everyone starting to arrive. Shawn walked though the door and we all shouted 'SURPRISE!'

Shawn loved it! That made me so happy. Amy, Penny, Perry, Beth and I were in the living room just talking then in walked Nash, Matt and... Hayes! Everyone knew about my history with him. Penny and Amy couldn't take their eyes off him! But then after Hayes in walked a short brown haired girl with green eyes. "Who the hell is that!?"

Perry turned to me, shocked. "Oh that's Keira. A friend of Hayes'." Beth explained.

I couldn't help but feel jealous but why? I haven't talked to Hayes in years! Okay he was good looking but why jealous? All the girls could see it in my face and hear it in my voice so they walked off and planned something. I had no idea what it was though.

Amy and Perry walked me over to Hayes. "What are you doing?" I said turning away from him.

Amy pushed me over and said "You'll thank me later" and ran off with Perry.

Hayes caught me in his arms. "Woah! Are you okay there?" He said in a gentle voice.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I said trying to hide my face.

"No it's okay. Wait do I know you?"

"No. I don't think so. I'll be off now." Hayes grabbed me by the arm. "Laila? Right?"

"How'd you remember? I thought you didn't want to be friends with me anymore." I said looking straight into his blue eyes.

"I know... I'm so sorry about that! How about we be friends again? I miss you... I know we won't be as close but I feel bad for what I did..." He looked down.

"Sure but I don't want you to ever do anything like that again! You don't understand how much that hurt me, Hayes." It felt good to say his name again.

"I'm sorry let me make it up to you?"

"And how would you do that?" I gave him that look.

"I'll... Take you to Starbucks!" He said smiling.

"Okay deal. Also if people ask if we are friends you have to say we are! No more hiding who you really are."

"Okay. Fine." He said while pulling me into a hug.

I walked back over to the girls. "HOW DID IT GO?!" Amy yelled in my face as soon as I sat down.

"Well... Me and Hayes are friends again and I'm going to Starbucks with him soon..." I said looking at Penny's face drop.

"See. I told you you would thank me later."

"Sorry Penny. But you can hang out with us too. This is not a date don't worry!"

"I know. It's just..." She paused.

"What Penny?" I said grabbing her hand.

"No it's nothing. Anyways I've got to go home. Come on Perry." Penny said getting up and walking to the door.

Perry left with Penny and it was just me, Amy and Beth left. Keira walked over to us.

"Hey! You're Laila right?" She said lookin right at me.

"Yeah... Why?"

"I'm Keira! I heard you and Hayes and if I didn't know better you guys have a little something going on... So spill!"

"Oh it's nothing just me and Hayes used to be best friends then we grew a part but now we are friends again. Confusing right?"

"Okay, we'll all I'm going to say is if I was you I wouldn't get too close." Then she walked off.

I had no idea what the hell that meant but after the party Nash, Hayes & Matt slept round and I had Amy round. Amy and I got ready for bed then came down stairs to get water. Then we went to the living room to say night to Shawn and the boys. Hayes was staring at me which made me feel uncomfortable as I was wearing shorts and a mini tank top. I hugged Shawn & Matt then when I hugged Nash he whispered in my ear 'Hayes is so checking you out! Be careful baby...' Nash always called me baby I have no idea why though.

Amy and Shawn heard what Nash said so then Amy pulled me away up to my room and I couldn't say night to the boys and not Hayes so I just shouted 'Night Hayes!' And walked up stairs.
