Lucien awoke from his nap, it was around six in the afternoon. He noticed the tux, Brix steamed for him. It had a beautiful red button down underneath the black suit jacket. He finished getting dressed and made his way downstairs. The chaplain introduced Lucien, and the guests cheered for him. He holds up a glass of champagne one of his courtiers gave him. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the Thanksgiving themed ball." He bowed as they did and they all went back to chattering amongst each other. He walked towards the bar, and as he was walking he was greeted by a few guests and then he sat down on the stool and smiled as people walked by. Lucien orders a vodka and a pretty lady sat beside him. "Prince Lucien, you look amazing." He turns to look at the woman and he eyes her up and down. "As do you." He replied to her and was handed his drink. "Can I offer you a drink?" He asked her and she nodded. Lucien asks the bartender for a vodka sunrise, she looks like she would enjoy that. "Would you like to dance?" She asked Lucien but he shook his head no. "I'm not that kind of prince. Dance by yourself." He turns away from the woman and looks in the doorway of the ballroom. There she was. Candy wore a beautiful red silky dress with black high heels. He walks towards the woman slowly, with his drink in his left hand. "Lucien." Candy said and Lucien rolled his eyes at her. "Why are you here?" He asked her and she shrugged. "I didn't think you'd actually leave me." Lucien chuckled, "You didn't seem to mind." He made a disgusted look at the woman which made her scoff. "Excuse me?" She asked him. Lucien looked the woman up and down, admiring her dress and how her body looked hugging it. "Forget it." Candy rolled her eyes, "Come on, let's dance." She pulled him onto the dance floor. He hands his drink to a random person and then begins slow dancing, along with the other people doing the same. Lucien didn't want to dance, he just wanted Candy out. "Put your hands on my waist." Lucien rolled his eyes and then chuckled to himself, coming up with a fantastic plan. He began to move his body in sync with hers. "How is Louis?" He asked her and she shrugged. "Actually, on his way here." He nodded at her, "Wonderful." He replied and she looked up at him. "You're not mad?" Lucien shook his head no, but of course he was. "Not at that." He moved one hand up towards her back and the other stayed on her waist. "Lucien, what is all this about? First, you leave me in New Orleans and then I come home to an attitude." Lucien chuckled, "No, no. My home. This is my home. Not yours." He shook his head and hummed the first two words lightly. "You're acting like a awful child." She told him and he smiled at her. "Shooting you in the face would be childish. Be grateful for my kindness." Candy did a fake smile at the prince. "Louis is such a better man than you. You're a coward." Lucien began to laugh loudly. She was quite hilarious. "A coward? Now, now darling. I'm the most powerful man in England and I'm a coward? Louis is a punk bitch who looks like he relies on daddy to feed him." Candy gasped and smacked Lucien in the face. "Ya know what? I'm done. I kissed Louis last night too. We are done." Lucien grabs the woman by the back of her dress and dips her, making her lean back as he holds her in one arm. "Don't try to blame this on me. I told you we were done the second you betrayed me. The second i shot you, you should've known that you're just a little slut, one of my toys." He looked her up and down and leans down to whisper in her ear. "I know you kissed Louis, I'm not oblivious." He dropped her onto the ground and turns to leave. As he is making his way towards the door, Louis steps in front of Lucien and the prince throws his fist into his face. Louis fell to the floor in disbelief and his nose began to bleed. The guests gasped loudly and Lucien's father shook his head and sighed loudly. Brix helped Candy up and then stepped over Louis, making his way out the ballroom to find the prince. "Sir?" He knocked on the door and opened it to find Lucien sitting in his black throne chair and sighing with his hand on his head. "Sir, what happened?" Lucien shrugged, "My temper gets the best of me." Brixton nodded at the prince. He was clearly upset. "Your majesty, I know my words don't mean much but you are allowed to deal with and have emotions. Just like the rest of us. You are allowed to feel anger, and guilt. I understand how you're feeling. I know that just because you aren't ready for Candy and that you do not love her, doesn't mean jealousy can't get the best of you." Lucien nodded at Brixton, understanding him. "In my experience, sir. Once you're ready for her they tend to leave and want something more." Lucien's eyes widened and he laughed. "That's just sad. I don't love Candy and I never want to be with her. She disturbs my peace, she isn't my type anyway." Brix made a funny face at Lucien, "Then what is?" Lucien grins at him and places his hands together. "Women are starting to humor me too much. I'm not looking for a person to try and stop what I do and who I am. I am Lucien Zańe after all. Any man, or any woman that I fancy will fancy me. That's just how it goes, Brixton." They both chuckled at one another. "My daughter would like you. She lives with her mother in London. She's the sweetest girl, and has a very caring heart." Lucien nodded as he stood up. "That's lovely, She sounds like her daddy raised her right." Brix smiled at him, "You too can be sweet. Go downstairs and tell Candy how you really feel." Always about Candy. She is starting to irritate him. "We'll see what happens when I get down there." Lucien walked in front of the mirror and stared at himself for a moment, fixing his jacket and then licking his lips. He leaves his room and makes his way back into the ballroom, his eyes landing on Candy and Louis who were slowly dancing on the dance floor. She had her head resting on his shoulder. "Sir." Said a woman beside him and he turned his attention to her. "Yes?" He replied and placed his hands together in front of his stomach. "You are not a kind man. How dare you push a pregnant lady onto the ground like that?" Lucien chuckled and took a step closer to the woman. "Shut your mouth, girl. I don't care what you think about me. News flash, darling. I dont give a fuck." He winked at her and then made his way towards the couple that was dancing. He put his hands behind his back and smiled at the two until one of them noticed Lucien. "Lucien, don't." Candy said, picking her head up off Louis' shoulder. "Get away from us." Louis said and Lucien's smile dropped. "Why don't you make me?" Lucien told him and he laughed nervously. "Louis, don't." Candy told him and he shook his head. "You need to grow up, Lucien." The Prince chuckled, "You think you're so innocent. You really are a coward." Louis said and Lucien was about to grab his throat but Brix catched his hand and stood in front of him. "I'm a coward? Candy's more manly than you. Your punk ass lives up to daddy's money." He told him and Louis gasped. "That list saved us, Lucien. Tell him Candy." Candy nodded and agreed with him. "You're both pathetic." He looked at both of them and Louis stepped closer to Lucien. "Ya know what's pathetic? The fact that you push around a pregnant woman." Lucien shoved Louis, hard making him fall onto the dancefloor and once he got up he was grabbed by Candy, and shoved behind her. "Lucien! What are you not understanding? Louis really cares about me. He always has. He cares for my unborn child already too. He loves me and I love him." Lucien laughed loudly once again. "You just met with this man after years of not seeing him, and you're already dropping your panties and letting him get into your mind. Candy, nobody cares about you." She had tears in her eyes which made Lucien smile brightly. "Lucien when I'm with you..you make me feel like I'm a lost cause too. Lucien, you're a mess. You don't know what you want, or who you want. I won't be mentally abused because you can't handle your own feelings." Candy spoke in a sadden soft tone. "My feelings? You kissed me and then kissed this douchebag an hour later." He looked at Louis with dark and cold eyes. "Lucien, you are crazy. You have the most darkest desires, you're a monster and a killer. Blissa was right about you." Lucien smiled at her again, "You think you're any less of a monster than I am? You can call me all those names, all the worst things. Candy, you are a killer too. Whatever I am, so are you." Candy shook her head at Lucien, disagreeing. "You made me like that." She told him and he took a step back. "That's right. Blame all your problems on Lucien. You had a choice Candy, the first night we met. You know what I was, who I am and what I'm capable of and you decided to stay. Don't blame me because you're a killer. A cop killer, nonetheless. You had many chances to leave, I gave you many and I even told you to leave. It's you, Candy. You always decide to come back to me." Candy scoffed at Lucien, "I'm done with you." Lucien shrugged and then grabbed Candy, pushing her into his arms and onto the nearest wall, so she couldn't move. He held her there for a second, before he spoke. "You'll come back, you always do. I do hope you don't, I really do. Don't do anything stupid. You still have my child inside that tum of yours." Lucien used his index finger to brush her hair out of her face as she breathed heavily. "Don't start a war, you know you cannot win." He walked away from them and out the ballroom.
