Two long months later. Lucien sat in his throne room, reading a novel. It was around three pm. He sighed looking up from the book and seeing the empty pews. Lucien's temper was getting worse as time went on. He was bored, and alone. He hasn't seen his baby girl in two months, no sign of Candy, no sign of anyone. If a broken man sits alone on his throne chair, there is definitely a problem. Lucien decided the best thing to do was to throw a party, better yet, have a masquerade ball. Around two hours later, Lucien had his staff on board even though it was such a short notice and time to prepare. Lucien was pouring himself some scotch from the beverage platter downstairs when there was a knock on the front door. Brix opened the door and smiled. "Aria." They hugged. "Hi, daddy." She said and Brix took her luggage and steps back as Lucien peaks his head from behind him and eyed the woman. "Hi daddy, indeed." He grins and the girl bowed. "We mustn't chat for long, we're in a bit of a time crunch." Lucien nodded as Aria stepped inside of the castle. "Why?" Lucien smiled at the girl, "I've planned a ball." Aria shrugged and then placed her hands together. "I have a question." She said to the King. "Alright." He replied and walked in front of her. "Do you think she really loves Louis?" Lucien snickered at her question. "What I think and what is real isn't up for me to decide. If she is happy then so be it." The woman nodded, "I like that." Lucien smiled at her, "I'll see you tonight, love." Lucien runs upstairs and begins to get ready, he gets into the shower. He let the water hit his tattooed pale body and cleaned himself up. Once he was done, he wrapped a towel around his waist and left the bathroom. He put on a black tuxedo and silked his hair back, nicely. He wore expensive leather shoes and walked towards the mirror, staring at himself. "Absolute perfection." He compliments himself, then grabs the black mask off the table beside him and makes his way downstairs. The music was playing downstairs, which means the ball had started. He walked into the ballroom, it was already crowded. Everyone bowed for him and he grabbed a drink and held it up. "Ladies and gentlemen, keep your masks on, get something to drink and enjoy the ball. Thank you for coming." He sipped his drink and then walked towards Aria. "Woah, you really know how to throw a party." He smiled, "You look gorgeous." She blushed, "I won't be seduced by you." Lucien laughed, "Does my father know you're flirting with me?" She asked him and Lucien shook his head no. "I'm your father's boss, so I don't think he would care, sweetheart." A girl pulled Lucien onto the dance floor and began dancing on him. "What is your name?" Lucien asked the bold woman. "Christina Hale, and you?" Lucien placed his hands on her waist. "Lucien." he states and the girl turns to look at him. "You're the King? If you're the King then..kiss me." Lucien was confused, "What would that accomplish?" He asked her and she smiled, "A girl who has already kissed the King would never forget his taste." Lucien eyed her and then leaned in to kiss the woman passionately. Perfect timing, Candy walked into the ball room in a cute purple dress and immediately spotted Lucien and the woman. She walked over to them and ran her nails on Lucien's back, and kept walking past him. He stopped kissing the woman and Christina grins, "Definitely the King." Lucien nodded, "There's more than a kiss I can give to you if you really wanted a taste." They began to dance together again and Candy got a drink and a woman stood beside her. "Just the person I was looking for." Paige smiled at Candy. "What do you want, Paige?" She asked her and then sipped her beverage after. "Exactly what you want." She grins at her and Candy rolls her eyes, "I have a boyfriend." Paige laughed at her words. "A boyfriend? I bet he doesn't compare to Lucien." Candy eyed the woman beside her, "What are you trying to plan here, Paige?" Paige took a sip of her own beverage, "Well, our precious King has tabs on you and I. I want to be one step ahead of him." She told her and then placed her drink down and watched Lucien again. "If I agree to do this, will you leave after we are finished?" Paige nodded at Candy's question. "Fine." Candy finally said and agreed to move on with the plan. "I'm pretty sure, I saw a similar dress like that upstairs in that weird ass storage room Lucien has. Distract him, I'll be right back." Paige got up, and walked out the ball room. Candy got up and pulled her dress down a bit, showing off some cleavage. She made her way towards Lucien and scratched her nails lightly against his back. This time he turned around, "Hi, baby." She smirked at him and his smile dropped. "Missed me?" Lucien sipped his drink and chuckled, "Missed you? I missed my daughter. Where is she?" He shouted over the loud music. "Uh..she's with Louis." She nods at Lucien and he makes a grimace look. "Then I shouldn't be happier." Candy exhaled, "She's safe." He licked his lips and stepped closer to Candy, "No. You cannot tell me how to feel. I haven't seen my daughter in two months. How could you do that to me? I gave you a chance to be happy and you took away mine." Candy stood there shocked, Lucien looked at her body, slowly and noticed her hand, her nails were done and there was an engagement ring on her finger. Lucien nodded, understanding now that she has a new family to attend too. He began walking towards Christina again. "Lucien.." She called out and he went over to the girl and began to sloppily kiss her. Candy walked back to the bar. Just as Paige walked into the ballroom, with an almost exact dress as Candy had on. "How'd it go with the King?" Paige sat down beside Candy and looked over at Lucien who was occupied again. "Good, he's totally distracted. He saw my engagement ring." Paige nodded and looked down at the ring, "My turn, I'll get the files." She stood up and Paige walked over to Lucien. "King Lucien." This was not going to end well. "Get out." Lucien turns to look at her and eyed the woman, noticing the purple on her dress. "What are you planning?" Lucien looks around for Candy and notices her sneaking out the door. He grabs Paige's arm and shoves past people, following Candy to his study. "You're hurting me!" She whined, "Keep it to yourself." He slams open his study door to see Candy looking through his files. "Need help?" Lucien asked her and shoved Paige into his desk, beside the other girl. "What is it you bitches are looking for?" He placed his hand in front of his stomach and tilted his head at them. "Paige said you had our files.." Candy spoke in a low tone which made Lucien laugh. "I don't care about what you do, or who you do it with. You can live your own lives however you want." He shrugged, "We're not your bitches, Lucien." Lucien smiled at them both, "Aren't you? You come into my castle, go through my things, and you still think you're not my bitches?" Lucien steps towards the girls, "Get out!" He said and the girls stood there in shock. "Now!" He screamed at them loudly and they both screamed and ran out the room. Lucien fixed up his study, shutting the file cabinet and fixing his desk. He looked at some papers scattered on his desk for a few minutes. Once he neatly organized he walked out his study and into the ballroom. Everyone was on their knees, staying silent. Lucien walked inside and the music shut off. Men with black masks held their guns at the people. "Oh good." Lucien said digging in his pocket to get his gun. "Don't do that." Lex Bates; one of Lucien's enemies said. The King turns to look at Lex and sighed. "You look so handsome, King Lucien. It's going to be a shame to destroy that." Lex and Lucien never got along. They always hated one another. They've fought each other many times before and it was sooner rather than later before Lex shows up and tries killing Lucien. "Me? Have you seen yourself mate? Such a pretty face isn't going to be so pretty once I've had my time with it." Lex smiled at his remark and then took a few steps towards the King. "I know you didn't come here to flirt with me, so let's fight." Lucien took his masquerade ball mask off and tossed it on the floor. "What if I did?" Lex laughed as he eyes the people behind Lucien, confused with her jaws dropped. Lex took off his jacket and he wore a white button down with a black skirt. Lucien made his way towards him and eyed his outfit with a smile, checking it out and then he threw his first into Lex's cheek and they began to fight. Lex's men let them fight for a bit and then broke it up once Lucien slammed Lex onto the ground. Lex got right back up as Lucien was held back. Lex blew Lucien a kiss and then did some crazy kick to his stomach making him fall to the ground in pain. "I'll give you a real one next time, pretty King." Lex and his men gathered themselves and prepared to leave. "I'll see you real soon, Your Majesty." One thing Lucien likes about Lex is that even though the hatred runs deep, Lucien and Lex respect each other because they both have been through hell and back. Lex leaves the castle and Lucien is helped up by Brix. Lucien held his stomach in pain, "Balls not over yet, enjoy it while you still have time too." Brix walked Lucien to the living area and opened his shirt, feeling against his ribs. "I'm fine, Brix. He barely grazed me." Brix placed an ice pack onto his ribs and held it there. "What's the deal with my daughter?" He asked Lucien and the King chuckled, "There's no deal. I don't even know her. Why? What did she say to you?" Brix shrugged, "That you were trying to seduce her." Brix made a face, like a weird face at Lucien. "Women these days." He sat up a bit, leaning his head against the pillow. "Your daughter is tremendously stunning but I'm not going to seduce her, mate." He laughed again, he was trying to be respectful but it was extremely funny. "What's the deal with Lex Bates then, sir?" He asks and Lucien grabs a cigar from his pocket and lights it. He inhaled smoke and exhaled away from Brix's face. "Lex Bates and I go way back, back before Vance. He's supposedly a notorious killer..my ass." He inhaled the smoke again as Brix began to speak. "You two are quite flirty." Lucien shrugged, "That's how it's always been." Lucien stood up and placed the ice pack down beside Brix. "I'm getting Lucia." He buttons his shirt up again and Brix stands up as well. "Would you like me to drive?" They walked out the room, Lucien held the cigar in his mouth and then grabbed it putting it in his hand. "God, no." He walked towards the door. "I'll have Aria accompany you, then." Brix ran to get his daughter and they came back a few seconds later. Lucien grabs the keys to his motorcycle, he and Aria get on and he drives to the house. "I suggest you stay on the motorcycle because nothing is stopping me from killing them." Aria gulped as she held onto the King's waist. Candy looked through the window of her house and ran upstairs to get her boyfriend. Lucien parked his motorcycle and walked to the door and bangs on it. Louis opens the door and greets Lucien with a nervous smile. "King Lucien." Lucien shoved him, "Candy!" He screamed and she came running down the stairs. "Where is my daughter?" He asked her and Candy stayed behind Louis. "Here's the thing..She's in New Orleans with her grandmother." Lucien's jaw dropped and this is why Candy stayed behind her boyfriend. "I'm going to burn this house to the ground." Candy shook her head, "She's safe." The King chuckled and then licked his lips as he stared at the two of them. "You're both going to die and then when you try running, I'll kill you both without blinking." Candy and Louis gulp. "Don't blame me for my actions, you did start everything that I am going to end." Lucien shoved them both, hard and then got onto his motorcycle. He was definitely going to New Orleans and someone is definitely going to die. Around twelve hours later, he arrives in New Orleans in his private jet. He gets himself situated and makes his way towards Jackson square. A man rudely shoves past him and Lucien grabs his arm to stop him. "How dare you touch me!" Lucien was not in the mood for any games. "Brother?" Matthew wore a bright green shirt with clean white pants. He was hard to miss. Lucien chuckled at his outfit, "I'm not your brother." Matthew puts his arm around Lucien. "Why are you here?" Lucien rolled his eyes and began walking again. "Mind your own business and get your filthy hands off me." Lucien pushed Matthew's arm off his shoulder. "Let's get a drink." He said and Lucien started to get annoyed. "I don't like you, or Rosemary, so absolutely not." Matthew stops Lucien in his tracks and pulls him up the stairs to the apartment. Rosemary gasped seeing Lucien, "Brother?" It was very confusing. Why is Lucien in America? "I am not your brother!" He shouted at Rosemary and Matthew shut the front door. "Stop being disrespectful." Lucien chuckled, "You foolish idiots are the ones disrespecting me. Which is very stupid of you." Matthew laughed, "Is that a threat? Is that all you do?" Lucien nodded, "Look at who's talking. The coward who wants to be me. Who are you? Father?" He looked at his older brother with a smirk. "No, Lucien. I'm not our father but you're not going to disrespect me in my house." Lucien took a step closer to Matthew, "Then let's take this outside." Lucien shrugged and Rosemary stopped them. "Get out." She said to Lucien and he chuckled as she pushed him towards the door. "I was just leaving." He states and then walks out of their apartment and continues to find his destination. He soon gets to Candy's mothers house and bangs on the door. He startled her mother because she began to shout, "Whoever the fucks there, I have a gun!" Lucien bangs on the door again, "Open the door!" He shakes the knob and the mother unlocked the door, Lucien barges inside the house. "Candy is not here." She said shutting the door and Lucien chuckled. "You're going to need more than a gun if you don't give me my child." He told her and she made a confused face. "What in God's name are you talking about?" Lucien licked his lips, and asked her for the last time. "Where is Lucia?" The mother stuttered, "Candy never told me you had a daughter." Lucien took a deep breath, "She is the mother!" He screamed at her, making the woman take a big step back. Everyone is cautious around Lucien. "Liar!" She cried out and Lucien made an annoyed face. "I wouldn't come all this way to lie. You have..." Lucien stopped talking for a second as he heard a small cry. He grabbed the older woman's arm and forced her to walk with him to the sound of the baby crying. He walks into the shaded room to see his daughter, laying in the crib and whining from all the loud noises. He slams her mother onto the wall and begins to choke her. "How dare you lie to me!" After all these years, a Wansion woman can still never be trusted, afterall. He took her by her long white hair and tossed her out the baby's room and into the living room so the baby wouldn't see or hear anything. "Lucien, please have mercy." Lucien chuckled and pulled out his pocket knife. "She said you wouldn't come looking." Candy's mother shouted to Lucien, hoping he would understand her. "Come looking? Why wouldn't I come looking for my daughter?" He was confused just like she was. Lucien grabs the woman by the throat again and slams her through the tiny glass decor table and she whines in pain. "Fess up, why did she give my baby to you?" He held the knife to her throat as he sat against her stomach. "Better yet. Why would you lie to me?" The woman was stuttering, "Answer or you die." He said smirking as he looked down at the scared old woman. "She said, she thought you needed space, and that when and if you come..to die until I can't protect my granddaughter anymore." It was truly pathetic, Candy told her own mother to die fighting a killer. "So you were expecting me and look at you now. You should have prepared better. I'm thinking your daughter wanted you dead." He laughed as she cried out for help. "I show no mercy to those who have wronged me and you have done much more than that. I wish you'd live to tell this to your daughter but.." Lucien shoved the knife into her stomach as she began to bleed out. "How proud are you, now?" She gasped for air and then he shoved the knife in more which killed her instantly. He pulls the knife out her stomach and goes to the sink and washes it. Then he picks up his daughter from the crib and walks back into the living room. "Hello, my pretty girl." He kissed Lucia's cheek and then stepped over Candy's mothers dead body and walked out her house, leaving the door wide open.
